Britney Spears and her stunning bikini body are back on the beach for another yoga session – this time, masked. The 38-year-old singer made headlines at the beginning of 2020 for vowing to do more “acro yoga” this year. It looks like Britney has stuck to her guns, although she didn’t quite stick to her early pandemic promise of delivering a “yoga pose” a day. Nobody’s fussed about that.
Britney, fresh from admitting that she prefers McDonald’s to Burger King in a Q&A video and sharing one of boyfriend Sam Asghari, just dropped her third Instagram video of the day. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. It comes one day after the “Toxic” singer and personal trainer boyfriend Sam hit up the beach for a masked bike ride. Britney’s Wednesday video, meanwhile, showed her solo. The “Womanizer” singer had been shot far out and right on sands, seen stretching her toned body every which way while rocking a tiny bikini.
Spears, known for her hip-swiveling moves, ensured her muscles got the full treatment, but the video also shouted out COVID-19, with the star wearing a white face mask.
Britney’s video racked up over 200,000 views in under 30 minutes, with her 26 million followers quick to comment. The star had opted out a worded caption, using only three beach umbrella emoji.
“It’s Brittany Beach,” a fan wittily replied. Other comments weren’t so light-hearted for the singer now in her 12th year of having dad Jamie Spears control her finances and other aspects of her life. #FreeBritney, now raging as the singer’s 2008-commenced conservatorship is revisited, was alive and well in the comments.
The main source of concern on Britney’s Instagram these days is the repetitive nature of posts. If it isn’t a red, white, or yellow backdrop, it’s a backyard one peppered amid the odd fresh update breaking the mold.
“Are you okay?” is now the question asked by thousands as Britney’s father makes headlines for calling #FreeBritney a “joke” and a “conspiracy theory.”
Fans did query whether the video was new today. Britney doing yoga on the beach is nothing new, but the star doing so in a face mask is. Regardless, a user wrote: “Same video from a couple months ago…no?”
Not everyone agreed.
Britney’s fans may be convinced that she isn’t controlling her Instagram – likewise that she is either unsafe or unhappy – but content from the singer has been showing her having fun. Britney’s bike date with personal trainer Sam came captioned:
“Going to the beach ? is always so much fun !!!!!
We are all social distancing and wearing masks of course …. even still there is a sense of togetherness at the beach that brings me peace.”
Spears has largely remained silent amid mass allegations that she is not okay. She did, however, deliver a rare clap-back one month ago, stating that she was “authentic” and as “real as it gets.”
