Maya Vander opened up about a potential "Selling Sunset" spinoff and her co-star Chrishell Stause's shocking split from husband Justin Hartley, which occurred at the end of last year, during an August 11 interview on the "Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast.

"I met him only twice," Maya told David of her interactions with the "This is Us" cast member. "[He came] to the office once when we were filming before everything happened and you know, this seems like such a sweet couple."

"It was really, for me personally, it was really disappointing to hear what happened because they were so good together," Maya explained of Chrishell and Justin's breakup. "I mean, it's not like I was hanging out with them all the time, but yeah. I mean, from what I saw zero signs."

During an episode of season three, Chrishell suggested she was completely blindsided by her split from Justin and accused him of tipping her off about his divorce filing in a text message.

After being asked about the possibility of launching a spinoff of "Selling Sunset" in Miami, where she resides, Maya said it would be "tough."

"I have to see what I'm going to do at first. I don't know if [we're] getting picked up for season four, cause Netflix just doesn't tell us yet."

"[It] depends what they have in mind and how they want to play the thing. We'll see," she went on. "[It's a] verbally mentioned spinoff, but that's just verbally. So I know like how long it [took] to do 'Selling Sunset.'"
