Gwen Stefani’s 14-year-old son Kingston Rossdale recently told the press that he doesn’t like country music. Furthermore, he shared that he finds the sound of the music “disgusting”!

While on Instagram Live he shared his opinions with his fans about Country music.

““I don’t listen to any country. I hate country.”

When a fan played a little bit of country from Johnny Cash, Kingston grimaced and stated, “Country is disgusting.”

His mom’s boyfriend Blake Shelton, one of the most prominent Country music artists in the United States, hasn’t commented on his girlfriend’s children’s music tastes.

Although Blake hasn't weighed in on Kingston's opinions, an insider has shared that he and Stefani have started seriously considering marriage. This is also largely due to how her kids have taken to really love having Blake around.

“(My) kids love (Blake). We love him. Everybody loves him."

When Dua Lipa, during a live interview, mistakenly called Blake her “husband” Gwen surprisingly didn’t take it the way most thought she would. She actually seemed quite pleased and only lightly corrected her that they weren’t officially married...yet.

An insider shared that Gwen wants to get married to Blake when social distancing has become none-existent.

"COVID-19 has turned their world upside down, as it has with so many families. Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted.”

Furthermore, Gwen has realized that waiting for a church annulment of her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale is pretty much futile as there is no indication of when that will happen.

"It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile because it could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision.”

During a lengthy interview with Harpers Bazaar, Gwen shared how she never thought she would be number one on the country charts either. She sees it as an added bonus having someone so loving at her side.

"it's crazy the support and love I've felt. Life is such a weird..."She lets out a little laugh. "I mean, I can't believe I'm number one on a country chart.”

Still Unclear

So although her son Kingston doesn’t really like Blake’s music, it hasn’t really phased Gwen or her (husband to be?) boyfriend in the slightest. They know not everyone is going to like their music, but that doesn’t stop them from loving each other or pursuing their careers respectively.

It is still unclear when Gwen and Blake are planning to get married since “social distancing” is still very present in various States in the US, but insiders say they are getting closer and closer to making a decision.
