It took over a week, but "Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry has finally shared the name of her newborn baby boy. She shared an adorable photo on Instagram of herself holding the baby and revealed she named him Creed, which means "guiding principal." Also in the photo was his cute name blanket and framed animal images hanging above his crib.
Several fans in the comments asked her what Creed's middle name is, but Lowry didn't offer up any answers on that. Regardless, most people seemed to like her choice.
"Congrats momma ! Creed is such a good, strong name ! You look AMAZING," one said.
"Kail, you always break boundaries. Good for you for being who you are regardless what the public eye wants. Love his name," another wrote.
A third fan added, "Beautiful boy and beautiful name! Congratulations babe! So happy for you."
The baby boy was born at 2:47 p.m. and weighed in at 8 pounds and 15 ounces, measuring 22.5 inches long.
"No name yet but we are all healthy and so in love," she told E! after confirmed the baby's birth. "I can check giving birth during a pandemic off my bucket list now."
Last week, Lowry posted a photo of herself on her Instagram Story drinking a smoothie and wrote, "Can you guess what I'm drinking?" A few hours later she returned to her Story and said, "If you guessed my placenta, you're right!"
Lowry said the concoction was whipped up by Lancaster Placenta Co. and she said you "couldn't taste the placenta at all" and that it was "blended with fresh fruit & almond milk."
She also shared the first photos of Creed in a series of images that were published by Us Weekly. In one of them, he was laying across the laps of his three brothers, Isaac, Lincoln, and Lux, who is giving the baby a smooch on the head.
Lowry announced the news of her pregnancy back in February when she shared a photo of herself and her three boys along with an ultrasound pic.
“We’re confirming the news, baby #4 is coming soon!" she wrote at the time. "I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant & it’s been a rough few months this time around. I’ve had nausea, morning sickness, and absolutely no energy. This week I’m starting to feel a bit better and I’m really hoping it stays this way!”
She later admitted that the fourth baby may not be her last, and that she might have up to six kids before she's done.
