Ireland Baldwin appeared forced to censor her own photo in order to stay within Instagram’s community guidelines this week. The 24-year-old model and daughter to Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger took to her stories ahead of the weekend for a little bedroom action. Ireland, who lives in L.A. and has been quarantining in the Californian city, was channeling her love of vintage trends. Seemingly, also of prime sheer fabrics.
The leggy snap shared with Ireland’s 613,000 Instagram followers came safe as the model employed some emoji protection.
Ireland, whose summer 2020 headline-making has included both her killer bikini body and a more serious aspect as she backs Black Lives Matter, updated from her bedroom and showing off her 6’1” frame. The blonde had snapped herself in front of her bed and on a fluffy rug while flaunting her endlessly-long legs in a thigh-grazing and sheer white nightie – floaty layering and embroidery added old-fashioned aspects.
Ireland also showcased her prominent arm tattoos, with a little digital help coming in handy for the nightie – likely worn commando.
A permanent post landing on Ireland’s Instagram then showed off the same look, but with the stunner kneeling. She wrote: “New vintages [sic] pieces ?.”
Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria, currently expecting her fifth child with the Hollywood heavyweight, was quick to reply. She wrote: “Cute.”
Fan replies can very much go either way on Ireland’s Instagram. On July 30, the model posted a hilarious and clearly tongue-in-cheek video of herself driving and refusing to wear a mask while grabbing takeout. The video was obviously geared towards encouraging the public to mask up amid COVID, but replies seemed to see fans missing the point.
Ireland had captioned the video: “The aliens have the hydroxycut #trump2020.”
While a comment from model Hailey Baldwin came in and read: “Hahahaha,” others seemed to see the sarcasm go right over their heads. A fan comment gaining likes read:
“Wait a minute..you SHOULD respect the businesses you’re going to that require you to wear one! If not you should be denied service. Its the same as no shoes no shirt no service..”
Ireland’s videos this summer have also taken a joking stab at quarantine – with a kitchen knife.
Ireland, who is body-positive and opened up about body-shaming in 2017, has nonetheless been going full-throttle with the weight gain mentions amid the pandemic. A viral June video seeing her with Cheetos and wielding a knife in her kitchen while rocking unzipped jeans also came captioned with a purposeful spelling error. Ireland joked she was so bored of quarantine, she couldn’t even spell it correctly, writing:
“Can’t spell quarantine right because I’m sick of her.”
