Halle Berry is now being told: “I wish I was in shape like that.” The 53-year-old Oscar winner uploaded a fresh photo to her Instagram in honor of #FitnessFriday today, with the unique look replicating the arched back wheel pose seen in mid-June.
Halle, whose sweat-drenched abs reveal this year made headlines as she admitted throwing the “kitchen sink” at her core, went zen and beachy with her photo. She also shouted out the 2020-founded Re-Spin fitness brand she’s running. Check it out below.
Scroll for the beach shot. It showed Halle photographed in a fitler-finished black-and-white shot and taking up the frame right on shores. The solo snap showed the “John Wick” actress stretched out with her back arched over a wheel and her insanely toned legs and arms on show – likewise the rock-hard abs.
Halle, who wore patterned spandex leggings and a matching crop top, addressed her 6.3 million followers, opening with a mention of quarantine life leaving “our muscles tense, tired, and in need of some serious TLC.”
Halle, an avid yogi who has delivered poses on one leg in jungle-like settings this year, continued: “I put together the @respin #YogaBundle to help you stretch out, tone up and give your body a little extra love.”
A 30% off deal was then offered, with Halle also shouting out personal trainer and “spirit animal” Peter Lee Thomas, who will be popping up on her stories. The actress features Thomas so regularly on her IG, she actually had to shut down dating rumors this year.
Halle is no stranger to the grueling workouts, having completed three years of martial arts training in just six months for “John Wick: Parabellum.” The actress’ upcoming MMA movie “Bruised” has already seen her photographed with a swollen eye after she sustained injuries on set. It’s also brought a beast set of abs, which Halle debuted in an amusing-yet-dramatic video.
Halle, who is Type 1 diabetic and has been keto for 15 years, recently opened up on the steely core saying “we threw the kitchen sink at my core.”
Scoll for the beach stretch after the video.
“I had to look (and perform) like a professional MMA fighter,” Halle continued as she spoke to Women’s Health: “So, in addition to practicing MMA for four hours every day, I was also doing about 45 minutes of general strength training and 15 minutes of work just on my abs.”
Halle’s post today racked up her up over 15,000 likes in under an hour. “Halle, you are incredible,” a fan wrote, with the sentiment echoed by many others. Halle’s #FitnessFriday last week also showed her on the beach, this time stretching and accompanied by PT Lee Thomas.
