Chrissy Teigen has often been an outspoken critic of the current US President Donald Trump. Her social media on Twitter frequently references recent happenings in the political sphere, while her Instagram is more focused on capturing meaningful photos of herself or her family.

About a month ago Teigen’s favorite brand of beans, “Goya”, had their CEO praise Trump as a noteworthy president. Well, the 34-year-old Sports Illustrated swimwear model didn’t like Goya’s message about the president and she proceeded to announce how she was boycotting the brand completely.

In a now deleted Instagram story Teigen displays a view of the kinds of ingredients she was using for a specific recipe, and one of the cans showed that she was using “Goya” beans despite having told her followers that she would never use the brand again.

Naturally, viewers who saw the story commented their frustration over the “hypocrisy” she was showing. Comments ranging from people being angry, to others confused about why she still was using a brand she was supposedly boycotting.

Before The Flak

Before all of this criticism and controversy came out around Teigen’s odd preferences to use her boycotted brands, she made headlines after revealing that she had her breast implants removed. She previously had them put in at the age of 20 to help with her modeling career.

Chrissy is more focused on her family now, but at one point Teigen was one of the top models for Sports Illustrated and was enjoying the luxury as a highly sought after beach model.

'Great To Me'

Teigen explained that having them removed has been a big game-changer for her. Being able to sport a smaller dress and lie on her stomach was a major change for the better!

“They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie!”

Chrissy also realized that having children made her implants unnecessary and unflattering. (Something that caused a bit of discussion on social media)

She told the press how she’s totally over having such a large bust now that she’s becoming more of a full-time mother.

“It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.”

Up until this point, Teigen was riding a train of popularity on social media across multiple platforms for her transparency and outspoken opinions, now many have come forward angry with her for not sticking to her statements.
