After months of only being able to reunite with each other remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic, the women of the "Real Housewives of New York" cast were finally able to come together in person to film a reunion episode.

The taping of the Season 12 rehash happened earlier this week with Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Leah McSweeney, Luann de Lesseps and Tinsley Mortimer all in attendance. And of course, "Watch What Happens" host and "Housewives" executive producer Andy Cohen was there.

Cohen posted about the big event on Instagram, writing, "About to shoot our IN PERSON RHONY Reunion!!" he said alongside a selfie. "Putting on a suit and tie never felt so good ... Gonna be a great day!"

Lisa Rinna from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" admitted she was jealous of the reunion. "I must say I’m jealous Re In person reunion Which I never thought I’d say," she commented on Cohen's post.

Singer chimed in with, "So excited!!!"

Cohen said that everyone was wearing masks and all coronavirus safety protocols were followed during the filming. He knows the danger of the virus all too well -- back in April, he announced that he'd tested positive for COVID-19.

Although after the taping, he curiously posted another photo, this one of himself with de Lesseps and neither of them were wearing their masks.

"That’s a WRAP! Thanks to our incredible crew who helped us execute this reunion safely. And thanks to Lu for wearing a mask of her own lips!" he wrote.

Given the ongoing drama between Singer and McSweeney, it seems certain that there were some fireworks during the taping.

Most recently, Singer came under fire for bringing up McSweeney's bipolar disorder during an episode last month. She was upset that McSweeney was dancing provocatively at her birthday party.

"I found out she's bipolar and she's on medication and I know people who are bipolar and you cannot mix alcohol with meds, it makes you act not responsible. It's actually very dangerous," she said Morgan the next day.

Later, she brought it up again during a confessional. "They go, 'Ramona listen, this Leah girl, she writes a blog and on a blog she says she's bipolar.' That explains it all!"

McSweeney was understandably upset about it. “Whatever, I don't care about the party. She's saying I showed my vagina to people, which is demeaning and it's a lie and whatever. But when you start talking about 'Leah has depression, she's on pills,' it's a line that you don't cross," she said.
