Twice divorced Jennifer Aniston has clearly never had an easy path in her love life. Rumors around the time of her split from Brad Pitt indicated that one of the main reasons why Jen & Brad split was the fact that she didn't want to have kids. Brad went on with his life with Angelina and essentially had a ton of kids. Jen at 52 is currently single with no kids. In a recent sit down with The Hollywood Reporter Jennifer Aniston admitted that she was a bit worried about being alone when the pandemic hit the big time in 2020. To her surprise, she found plenty of ways to cope with being alone and ultimately enjoyed her time in lockup. Although she doesn't have kids of her own she's settled nicely into the role of cool aunt.
Jennifer Aniston's Fear of Being Lonely Through The Pandemic
Certainly Jennifer Aniston was not the only person who was afraid of feeling lonely in 2020. We know that you called your ex too, we're not judging. Aniston admitted that spending too much time alone was something that worried her at the start. As lockdown extended she mentioned that she never really felt lonely. Plus she found new ways to stay busy. Jennifer mentioned,
"It surprised me that I didn’t become bored immediately. I loved cooking. I wasn’t brilliant at it, but I found ways to make eggs every which way and I became a lover of pasta again. Carbs are not the boogeyman"
Jen's New Role As Cool Aunt To Celeb Kids
Here are a couple of things you should know if you ever get invited to Jennifer Aniston's house. For one, they say that the food at Jen's is amazing. Kristin Hahn a friend of Jennifer and Brad Pitt says she's been going over to Jen's for 20 years. You can count on the bar is open and the food is great. Kids enjoy themselves at Jennifer Aniston's house too. Jason Bateman has mentioned that his kids and Jimmy Kimmel's kids refer to Jennifer as "Carol". A nickname they gave her because she was like a den mother. She's the cool aunt who lets them run around the house. Bateman also mentioned though that they send the kids home around 9. So that the adults can enjoy the open bar into the later hours of the night. Adam Sandler also shared similar stories about Jennifer Aniston's late-night gatherings.
She Liked Being Alone ... But She's Not Slowing Down Again
Although the COVID lockdown may have been more bearable than she had expected that doesn't mean that Jen is keen on locking herself up again. In fact, she's pretty much fully booked for the next 2 years. Her father is still a working actor at 88. Family dinners might be awkward if she revealed she wanted to take a break! Friends was obviously a topic of conversation in the interview. With Jen getting asked about the reunion and just saying, "Time travel is hard". Aniston isn't at a point in her life where she wants to look back on what was. She immediately shot down the idea of writing a memoir like Matthew Perry is doing. Saying she's still making memories. If you have an open bar and great food at home you can make a ton of memories!
