The death comes on the heels of another tragic death involving a contestant on the big competition shows. As we reported, 'The Voice' star Thomas Wells died last month after a freak accident with a conveyer belt. The 46-year-old singer was working at a manufacturing plant in Oklahoma when he got caught in an automatic conveyor, which didn't stop. The family issued a statement regarding the death, saying, "Thomas had an amazing voice and loved singing hymns as well as contemporary music. He always had a smile and loved to joke and give people a hard time. He was a great entertainer and always became the center of attention."
