Isla Fisher & Sacha Baron Cohen Celebrate 20 Years Together With Sweet Tributes

Isla Fisher & Sacha Baron Cohen gave each other sweet shoutouts on Instagram today to mark their 20th anniversary.

The 45-year-old actress was the first to commemorate the special occasion on the social media platform. Her early morning post included three stunning photos of them together taken over the years and a snapshot of her husband. The first image was probably taken many years ago as the couple looked so young. A swipe to the right showed a black-and-white picture of them together, and they were both wearing sporty outfits.

In the third snap, Fisher rocked a pink top while holding a bottled drink in one hand. Cohen posed behind her, dressed in a black long sleeve shirt and wig. The 50-year-old actor was seen posing solo in the next slide, wearing a t-shirt with his wife's face printed all over.

"Happy Anniversary ❤️ 20 YEARS," Fisher wrote in the caption.

The "Confessions of a Shopaholic" star added, "If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever, Winnie the Pooh."

The anniversary tribute proved to be popular with her social media fans. In less than a day, the post accrued more than 245,000 likes and upward of 1,900 comments. Plenty of her followers and some fellow celebs flocked to the comments section and wrote gushing messages.

"What a couple of goofballs! Love yall! ?" Reese Witherspoon wrote.

"Happy anniversary, you two!" Chelsea Handler also commented.

"The most perfect match!! In every way… ??" Naomi Watts added.

"You two making it look easy! #couplegoals," quipped the fourth user.

The "Borat" star copied his wife as he shared the same pics and message to his feed. His post racked up over 260,000 likes, and it got 2,000-plus messages from his fans.

"Happy Anniversary my love. I’m writing this rather than getting you a card. Our duration is largely due to our location - after all Hollywood is the bastion of lengthy marriages," Cohen captioned the post.

Courteney Cox dropped a mix of emojis.

"Hahah did you steal her post word for word?" a follower noted.

"You married up. You really are a genius," added the third commenter.

Fisher and Cohen have been married since March 15, 2010. In a past interview, the latter said she met his wife at a "pretentious party" in Sydney in 2000.

“We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party. I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did," Cohen told the New York Times. “It’s taken her about 20 years to know.”

They dated for a few years, then got engaged, which lasted for several years. Fisher even converted to Judaism for her beau.

“I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha," she told Evening Standard. "I would do anything—move into any religion—to be united in marriage with him."

Together, the pair have three kids, daughters, Olive, 13, and Elula, ten, and son, Montgomery, five.
