Bella Thorne wants you stoned, and she’s sending the message in a revealing bikini. The 22-year-old actress and singer is CEO of her own Forbidden Flowers cannabis brand – if Bella getting baked with pizza on Instagram for 4/20 wasn’t a hint, the “Shake It Up” actress loves her weed.
Bella’s Tuesday Instagram update showed her in the loud orange bikini that made for a sensationally-cheeky selfie back on July 26. These shots threw in a pool, a little Chanel, plus the former Disney star rocking her adored pigtails.
Scroll for the photos. They came as both close-ups and a full-length shot, with Bella seen holding her Forbidden Fruits merch. The brand sees Bella teaming up with Glass House Farms for cannabis products that are an “embodiment of her free-spirited nature.”
Opening with a face shot and Bella smiling from behind white Chanel shades, the post also included the Florida native holding a cannabis smoking device to her mouth. Of course, there was some bikini action, with the asymmetric, one-shouldered, and orange bikini showing off Thorne’s killer figure as she posed by a pool.
A caption from Bella spoke to her 23.4 million followers. She wrote: “Just dropped orange creamsicle ????? who wants fresh flower?? @forbiddenxflowers”
Bella’s post raked in over 275,000 likes in four hours, but comments appeared more geared towards Bella than her product. “Your flower is the best flower,” one fan wrote, with another telling the star she was “so cute.”
Anyone eyeing Bella up for girlfriend potential may find it’s an uphill battle. The actress is currently in Mexico with Italian pop star boyfriend Benjamin Mascolo. Scroll for what he looks like.
Bella appears to have put her all into her brand. The Forbidden Fruits website offers a little info on its founder.
“Bella, being an avid consumer of cannabis, did a lot of research and found her best fit in Glass House Farms,” the website states, adding that Thorne had strains specially developed for her. “Bella spent a year sampling innumerable strains and refining her hand-picked favorites before landing on the strains we have today,” it continues.
By 2019, Bella was already discussing her cannabis brand with Forbes.
Speaking to Forbes, the “Infamous” actress joked about her long-term weed habits, saying: “I have really wanted to get into the cannabis industry for a while now. I’ve been smoking weed for a good minute (laughs).”
Bella admitted to anxiety and depression when she was younger, then revealing that CBD oil and weed were “the only things to help me. I don’t believe in pills,” she stated. Dollars and cents were also mentioned – Bella was happy to state that “my main other reason was money” as she detailed founding her brand.
