Halle Berry is in love, and she wants the whole world to know it!
PEOPLE recently shared the exciting news about the critically-acclaimed actress’s immense affection for her musician boyfriend Van Hunt, who she honored at the 4th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television event.
At the December 7 event, the “Catwoman” star took the stage with a heartfelt acceptance speech for the Career Achievement Award and added a sweet tribute for her man.

Berry hasn’t been so lucky when it comes to love, but after meeting Hunt, the “X-Men” actress’s life has changed in more ways than one.
During her acceptance speech, the 55-year-old mentioned that the world had watched her repeatedly fail over the years, but that painful journey was finally over.
The Hollywood sensation achieved success with her first directorial debut, but the height of it all was finding the love of her life. The actress praised the “Dust” singer by saying:
“Because you fail so many, you know what wrong looks like. Because I failed so many times, I now know what [love] really looks like. And so my partner is here tonight, Van, and you have supported me.”
In addition, the “Dark Tide” star also patted herself on the back by acknowledging how far she has come in the industry. The icon got emotional while reminiscing about 30 years’ worth of struggles.
In the past, Berry used to be “one of the only Black people in the room” and spent a lot of time searching for her value.
Now, the Oscar winner was a force to be reckoned with, and she couldn’t be prouder of her achievements as an actor and director. In the words of the “Frankie & Alice” star:
“Remaining authentic and true to myself is probably one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m so happy to share this moment with all of you.”

Berry was honored with this year’s People’s Icon Award for her outstanding contributions in TV and film, in addition to her directorial debut in the movie “Bruised.”
This movie earned the number one spot on Netflix during the first week it was released, and the movie’s success has led to “The Call” star’s partnership with the streaming platform.
Hunt proudly celebrated his woman’s success with a touching essay on her website rē•spin, in which he described the actress’s phenomenal performance in “Bruised.”
In October, The Blast revealed that the happy couple was enjoying a blissful season of love, and they proudly showed it.
The “Monster’s Ball” star once described the Grammy winner as the man she has always wanted. This declaration could be a reference to the actress’s previous marriages.
Before the dashing singer swept the mother-of-two off her feet, the Ohio native was married three times to David Justice, followed by Eric Benét and finally Oliver Martinez.
