Vishal Garg, the CEO of Better.com is apologizing for his behavior after firing his workers over zoom.

Earlier this week, Garg made headlines after unceremoniously laying off 900 workers.

The massive firing happened weeks before the holidays in the most tyrannous way.

Following the public backlash at his approach, Garg released an apology to his workforce.

In a company-wide email, the CEO apologized for his cruel firing tactics

“I realise the way I communicated this news made a difficult situation worse,” he wrote.

He, however, stood by his decision to lay off about nine percent of his workforce at a go.

The massive layoff raised quite the alarm as Better.com had only received $750 million in cash the day before.

However, Garg defended his actions accusing a majority of the fired staff of stealing from the company.
