“Riverdale” actress Madelaine Petsch looked effortlessly fashionable as she grabbed coffee with a friend in Los Angeles on Sunday (August 2).
The 25-year-old wore a white knit button-up romper with blue lacing that she paired with Prada sneakers. Petsch finished her look with a blue face mask.
The sighting comes days after the actress launched her activewear collection with Fabletics.
On July 23, the Washington-native teased her new line on Instagram prior to its debut.
“OMG!!! I’ve literally been working on this for a year and keeping it secret has been the hardest thing ever buuuut i’m truly honored and excited to announce my collection with @fabletics coming out August 1st?,” she wrote to her 20.2 million followers.
She continued, “I have always loved Fabletics and the fact that they champion the customer; making their products accessible to all shapes and sizes, at an affordable price point (without sacrificing the quality and cuteness?). And now in just 9 DAYS, you will get to see and feel the love I put into every detail. I hope you love it as much as I do! ❤️ #MadelaineXFabletics.”
Two days ago, the collection launched! “IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!!! My fabletics collection is officially out in the world and I couldn’t be more excited for you to see it, feel it and wear it!,” Petsch shared on Instagram.
“[The Fabletics team was] so willing to work with me and let me be super hands on, because I’m kind of annoying when I design stuff,” Petsch told Yahoo in July.
She continued, “Sometimes when you work with companies, you never know if they’re going to expect me to just slap my name on something that they did. You never know when you walk into a brand deal. So I was really happy to hear that they wanted me to have as much input as I wanted, and I wanted all the input.”
Besides working on her collection, the “F the Prom” actress has been doing her best to keep busy during the lockdown.
“Weekly therapy, daily meditations, sticking to some sort of routine, and getting outside for walks has been helpful. Self-care can be something as little as listening to your body and taking that mid-day nap, I’m just finding it important to really listen to what my body is telling me I need,” Petsch told People.
But it looks like she’ll be returning to work soon, as production for “Riverdale” is expected to start back up.
“I imagine we’ll probably go back soonish to start shooting,” she said.
The actress continued, “Hopefully soon. It’s all so up in the air….I think people are really going to enjoy it, because we’re really going to focus on the relationships this year. There’s going to be a lot of twists and turns and some things people may not like as much, but that’s the whole point of the show — to keep people on their toes and entertain them.”
