Since their headline-making split a few months back, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have still maintained quite interesting personal lives beyond their own split. Now, Green is dishing to the "Hollywood Raw" podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn podcast about how co-parenting with Fox has been since their split, his personal dating life, and a myriad of other elements related to those topics.

Green admits that the situation is going well and that there is no "rule book" to follow, but the former couple has been working well to make the best of the situation.

"I think it’s going as well as it can," Green explained to the podcast hosts, "There’s no rule book to it. There’s no way of doing it right or wrong. We are learning as we go."

Despite often being on opposite sides of the planet, Green says that he and Fox have been," communicating as much as [they] can," in the interest of making the co-parenting experience easier and work as well as possible, but maintains that there is still much they need to learn to navigate.

"I think the realization for us is we can’t take the view that it won’t affect the kids," the actor explained candidly. "Because it will. I think it’s up to us, and parents in general, how it affects your kids. Everyone still loves and respects everyone, things are just different. It’s not bad different — it’s just different."

Regardless of their co-parenting situation, Green says that all he wants is for Fox to be happy and has nothing negative to say about her newfound romance with rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

"I wish Megan the absolute best in everything," he told the podcast. "I want her to be completely happy, for her and for the kids. That’s super important. Nobody wants to be around somebody that’s unhappy — nothing good comes out of that. That’s a terrible situation. We are taking it day by day."

Although they are no longer romantically involved, Green says that due to the fact that the couple has always had busy schedules the dynamic for caring for their children has barely changed due to the breakup.

"We travel and we work," Green elaborated. "This is what we’ve been doing for 15 years. When one person is traveling and working, the other will step in and take care of things at home and the kids. This situation is no different. Megan loves her kids, would do anything for them, and has and will continue to."

In regards to his own dating life, the actor was very brief, saying, "I’ve been single the whole time. Dating, I guess. I’m open to meeting somebody. I’m focused on myself and healing with all of this and my kids and them experiencing it the best way that they can."
