Cara Santana, 35, showed off her enviable figure on Saturday (July 1) while walking around Los Angeles.
The actress wore black Under Armor leggings and a matching sports bra as she made her way to the gym. Santana accessorized her look with a black face mask and black alligator handbag.
At one point, the entrepreneur threw up a peace sign to the nearby paparazzi.
Santana has been quite busy amid the coronavirus pandemic. She recently launched her own fashion collection.
The collection was supposed to be launched as a second season collaboration with Kohl’s. But things changed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The truth is, this was the second season of that partnership. However COVID-19 single handedly dismantled the fashion industry, and because of that Kohl’s could no longer support my collection, but the buy had been made, and the clothes had been produced,” Santana told Forbes in late June.
“So I thought to myself, I could walk away from this and maintain reliance on corporate America, or I could take the risk and release this collection direct to consumer independently.”
She continued, “And as scary as that decision was, if I’m going to talk the talk, I can’t be afraid to walk the walk. So I said, ‘let’s go for it.’ Women need to be empowered to take risks and be willing to dismantle our power structures and feel like they have a voice, and I wanted to represent that.”
The Cara Santana Collection offers a variety of sizes, meant to fit every body type.
“The campaign was inspired by the versatility of identities women embody, all of us multifaceted and unique,” Santana explained.
She added, “Each piece of the collection was named by taking commonly used micro-aggressions women hear and making them our own, as opposed to allowing them to define us. As a woman I chose to define myself and I want to empower all women to do the same.”
Since the debut of her collection, the 35-year-old has been showcasing her pieces on Instagram.
On July 23, Santana gave fans an insight into the first item she created, which was the versatile trench coat.
“The ‘you might wanna keep it covered’ trench was the first piece in the collection that I conceived. I love the light weight organza, the simplicity of the design and elegance of the aesthetic. Would you wear it?” she captioned a photo of herself holding the coat.
Two days ago, the fashionista posted a revealing photo of herself in the coat while wearing a bathing suit from her BFF, Devon Windsor‘s new swimwear line.
“I didn’t intend this to be an opportunity to show you my butt but I took it once it presented itself,” she captioned the cheeky photo.
