Months after her supposed addition to the Bravo reality series was first reported, an insider has revealed to Hollywood Life that Elizabeth hasn’t exactly mended well with the returning members of the show after being introduced to the cast by controversial star Kelly Dodd, who has made headlines in recent months for her questionable comments about the coronavirus.
“Elizabeth Vargas is really feisty. She was brought into the group by Kelly [Dodd] and they have fun together,” the source explained. “It’s been challenging for her to connect with a lot of the other women though.”
While Elizabeth was seen spending time with Kelly and her fiancé, Rick Leventhal, several weeks ago, she’s only been seen with the rest of the ladies on one occasion and doesn’t seem to have a close relationship with any of them.
“They didn’t know her before and she hasn’t exactly been fitting in very easily,” the insider added.
“She’s pretty vocal and seems to still be getting her groove, but she hasn’t started off on the best of footing with the other women,” the insider continued.
According to the report, Elizabeth has allegedly been trying to “pick fights” with her cast mates.
“The women are struggling to become friends with her. They seem open though to getting to know her better but they think she’s trying to hard to start drama and issues when they’re not there,” the insider shared.
Despite her alleged issues with the majority of the “Real Housewives of Orange County” cast, Elizabeth has apparently remained close to Kelly and Kelly has had her back throughout the drama with the other women.
That said, Elizabeth may be trying a bit too hard to make a name for herself.
“She’s unnecessarily picking fights with people to cause drama,” the source stated.
Elizabeth was first seen filming with the women earlier this year, before production was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Although Elizabeth has been spotted wth “The Real Housewives of Orange County” cast on a number of occasions, Bravo has remained completely silent in regard to her casting for season 15, which isn’t out of the ordinary. After all, the network typically waits until just before the premiere to announce the new members of their shows.
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” season 15 is expected to begin airing new episodes on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
