Nicole Kidman is one the best actresses of her generation, but having several accolades doesn't impress her children.
The Hollywood heartthrob has graced both the big and small screens with phenomenal versatile performances that have allowed the entertainer to amass a legion of adoring fans.
However, the "Batman Forever" star's "biggest critics" were none other than her adorable children — daughters Sunday and Faith, whom the actress shares with her husband, Keith Urban.
Nicole Kidman's Daughters Are Not Obsessed With Their Mother's Fame
During the premiere of her latest movie, "Being the Ricardos," Kidman got candid about her children with ET's Nischelle Turner on the red carpet at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
The Oscar winner shed light on her past statement about her daughters being the "biggest critics." The critically-acclaimed actress revealed she was happy that Sunday and Faith were not captivated by her job.
The proud mother explained that her girls were focused on "forging their own paths" rather than following "The Undoing" star's footsteps. In her words:
"I love that they're not obsessed with what I do. They're really into what they do."
On the topic of impressing her family, the 54-year-old confessed that she wished to gain her mother Janelle's favor with her new movie.
"Being the Ricardos" is a biopic film about the renowned comedian Lucille Ball [played by Kidman] during the time she starred alongside her husband Desi Arnaz [played by Javier Bardem] in the iconic sitcom "I Love Lucy."
The 5-Time Golden Globe Award Winner Got Injured While Filming "Moulin Rouge"
Being an actress comes with a fair share of danger. Last month, The Blast shared the shocking injuries Kidman received while shooting the famous musical "Moulin Rouge."
During an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show," the blue-eyed beauty confessed that starring as the gorgeous courtesan Satine took a toll on the actress's health.
The 54-year-old broke her boundaries by tackling the musical, which required the entertainer to sing while performing several intense dance routines in heels.
The "Big Little Lies" star received her first injury when she fell down the stairs while practicing a dance sequence at 3 AM. The Emmy winner also broke her rib by trying to have an 18-inch waist.
The mother-of-four wished to have a slim waist like Vivien Leigh from "Gone with the Wind," making her corset incredibly tight broke Kidman's rib.
The Hollywood sensation's woes didn't end there; the "Bombshell" star received more bruises during a dance routine and tore her knee cartilage while filming the "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" scene.
The "Aquaman" Actress Was Criticized For Skipping Quarantine In Hong Kong
In August, The Blast reported that fans were ostracizing the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for receiving a quarantine exemption from the Hong Kong government.
The actress was allowed to begin filming "Expats," an Amazon Prime Video series, once she arrived in the city without going through the mandatory 21-day quarantine in a hotel.
Given the dangers of the ongoing pandemic, it was not surprising that several people criticized the entertainer for not adhering to the rules. Naturally, the government was also mocked for giving Kidman a free pass.
