More claims in the books, says that the couple nicknamed the palace old guards, “the vipers.” Also, the book talked about how resentment sprung from other royals against Harry and Meghan. For example, Kate Middleton reportedly found it challenging to lock eyes with her sister-in-law during a marching event in March. During the event, the couple were also reportedly made to sit at the back of other members of the royal family, says the authors of the book; Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie.

For these reasons stated above, the writers of this new book insist that Meghan and Harry found it very difficult to trust anyone in the palace, hence their decision to leave.

The couple have since refuted any claims that they had anything to do with the book or gave out any private information about themselves and the royal family. Nevertheless, the book highlights their last days as official royals and portrays them in a good light.

“For the very first time, Fjnding Freedom goes beyond the headlines to reveal unknown details of Harry and Meghan’s life together; dispelling the many rumors and misconceptions that plague the couple on both sides of the pond. As members of the select group of reporters that cover the British Royal Family and their engagements, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand have witnessed the young couple’s lives as few outsiders can.” This was written by Amazon’s blurb as an introduction of what is to come in the book.
