’90 Day Fiance’’s Colt Johnson has a very close relationship with his mother, Debbie, and it’s always on full display on the show. The two live together in Las Vegas and this was an issue for his ex-wife, Larissa Dos Santos. He brought her over from Brazil but things were crazy from the time she got to Vegas as she got into arguments with both Colt and Debbie. She was also fed up that Colt would stick up for Debbie and never her.
Larissa was arrested three times for domestic violence while living with Colt and Debbie but surprisingly, didn’t get deported. She ended up dating a new man named Eric Nichols while on this season of the show’s ‘Happily Ever After?’ series, Colt is dating another Brazilian woman named Jess Caroline. Colt met her in Chicago while she was visiting and the two built chemistry quickly. Her friends weren’t so sure though due to Colt not telling Debbie about her and due to the fact that Colt lives with Debbie.
On the previous episode of Happily Ever After?, Colt and Debbie went to Brazil to visit Jess after Colt finally revealed to Debbie that he was dating Jess. Debbie didn’t feel well and got annoyed with Jess after wanting to take a nap. The two ended up hashing things out. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Debbie also revealed that Larissa is not over Colt at all, despite dating Eric.
“Yeah, I didn’t think that was very nice of her to do that,” said Debbie after Larissa called her a wolf to Jess on a phone call. “I wouldn’t do that to her. She claims that Colt and I are dead to her but she keeps bringing us up and she keeps interfering with his life, apparently, so.”
Despite Larissa’ comments, Debbie has no hard feelings towards her. She is the bigger person here and wishes Larissa happiness.
“I like to see how she’s doing,” Debbie added. “I don’t want anything bad to happen to her, I want her to have a happy life.”
During that phone call that Larissa had with Jess, she also called Colt a “geeky player” and a “demon” and tried to make it seem like he made her life hell when it was actually the other way around.
Jess may very well be the one for Colt, though. When Colt and Debbie were riding in a car with Debbie on the way to their hotel in Brazil, they were already discussing marriage and children. From this moment, Debbie believed that they were moving much too quickly. She simply doesn’t want Colt to end up getting hurt the way he did with Larissa. When Colt was in Chicago with Debbie, he also voiced concerns that he doesn’t want to go through what he went through with Larissa again.
