Britney Spears: Highlights From 40th Birthday Vacation In Cabo San Lucas!

Singer Britney Spears is living the good life!

The “Oops! …I Did It Again” singer posted a video to her Instagram page featuring a gigantic cake shaped like a “B.” The cake was covered in roses and had a white heart engraved with the words “Happy Birthday Britney.”

She also showed off a table set with five smaller cakes. A nine-inch cake piped with pink frosting sat in the center. Smaller round and square cakes sat beside it, covered with a mix of pink and blue frosting.

The video cuts to a view of a private sandy beach with ocean waves in the distance. The words "Welcome To Paradise" are written in big, blocky letters in the sand. A small jacuzzi is set up beside the shore. In the video, it looks like Britney is about to step into the pool when a man’s voice addresses her, saying he’ll “leave her passport right here.”

“Okay, thank you,” Britney replies.

In the caption, Britney wrote, “Mexico was great !!!!”

Fans absolutely loved the post, giving it over 100,000 likes within the first hour of posting!

Britney teased her fans that she was going on an international vacation with fiancé Sam Asghari for her 40th birthday, which took place on Thursday, December 2.

In an Instagram video she posted on Thursday afternoon, Britney revealed a room covered in balloons. Large silver ones in the shape of letters that hung in a doorway spelled out “Happy Birthday Britney.”

The video revealed the same B-shaped cake Britney posted today, along with a thirty-second clip of a fireworks show.

“I’m so blessed and grateful !!!!” Britney wrote in the caption. “Tears of joy today … Thank you all for the b-day wishes.”

On Monday evening, TMZ shared some more snaps of Britney relaxing at the private resort where they’re staying in Cabo San Lucas.

In one shot, Britney can be seen heading to a lounge chair while carrying a white towel. She has her blonde hair tied back in a messy ponytail and is wearing a red halter-top bikini. In another snap, she is wearing a white tee-shirt, red Adidas shorts, and aviator sunglasses.

She was photographed standing behind a shirtless Asghari, who is only wearing a white towel wrapped around his waist. He is carrying a navy blue cloth which appears to be his shirt.

Although Britney looks amazing in the photos, she recently revealed that she’s sensitive about unflattering pictures of her circulating online in an Instagram post on December 1.

“As you can see I’m not 800 pounds like the paps have me in pics,” she wrote. “I’ve been working out and it’s real … whatever.”

However, she's learned to count her blessings. "God thank you for being able to go out of the country !!!!" she added. "I am blessed !!!!"
