Britney Spears‘ Thursday night Instagram comments are straight-up tragic. The 38-year-old pop princess’ 25.7 million followers seem – more than ever – convinced that she has no access whatsoever to her social media, with her latest Q&A video now seeing celebrities as well as fans wade in to ask the one question that isn’t getting answered – is Britney okay.
Britney did not appear as she was expected to for her July 22 court date as her 2008-commenced conservatorship was revisited. The “Technical difficulties” cited sparked a suspect reaction from fans. The vibe has trickled over into the “Circus” singer’s latest IG video. Scroll for it, plus the reaction.
Britney’s video, seen below and clocking over 2.7 million views overnight, showed her shot against a yellow backdrop and dressed in a low-cut white shirt. It followed the style seen on July 8 as Britney answered fan questions and revealed chili dogs to be her favorite food.
“Answering some more of your questions …. ps if I sound like I have a lisp it’s because I just got a retainer,” Britney wrote.
The 50-second clip saw Spears confirm Disney’s “Frozen” is her favorite movie, with Britney also talking what time she goes to bed and admitting she’s received one parking ticket in her life. Scroll for more.

As The Blast has reported, the “first” or main question Spears is currently being asked is whether she is safe and okay – it’s been over a decade since the singer’s father Jamie took over total control of her finances and other aspects of her life alongside, up until 2019, his lawyer.
“So, the first big question that you guys have been asking me if “What is my favorite Disney movie,” Britney said, speaking with a ponytail hairdo.
Spears then revealed “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” to be her favorite movie, alongside divulging her bedtime – “Um, what time do I go to sleep? I go to sleep between 11:30pm and 12:00am,” she said. More after the video.
A staggering 23,000+ likes have now been left to a comment from “Orange Is The New Black” star Ruby Rose, sarcastically/caringly reading: “I have a different question.” The clear swipe at Britney’s handlers, plus the concern, was echoed by writer Isabela Freitas, who replied:
“It seems that she doesn’t have access to her own Instagram at all.” Over 13,000 likes were left to this reply – “zero” access, a fan replied.
Fears over Britney’s Instagram activity largely stem from the repetitive posts showing her shot against a red backdrop in early 2020, then a white one, then her backyard, with similar outfits and a bizarre finish leaving fans convinced something is amiss.
Britney, whose red wall photos phase came as a batch of 12+ images this year and partially included Iranian boyfriend Sam Asghari, now also sees fears that the personal trainer is, per one fan, “complicit” in the alleged silencing and control of the singer.
“November 12, 2019,” they wrote, adding: “That’s the last time a video was uploaded to her Instagram where she’s holding a phone without someone else watching / with her. I feel like her boyfriend is complicit..”
Britney’s mother Lynne this month legally filed to be involved in her daughter’s legal affairs, with 29-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears also defending her sibling’s mental health. Meanwhile, Britney herself has delivered a rare clap-back earlier this month calling herself “authentic and as real as it gets.”
