Lily Collins looked casual as she and boyfriend, Charlie McDowell, walked their dog in Los Angeles.
The couple made sure to wear face masks as they strolled around their neighborhood.
Collins, 31, and McDowell, 37, were first linked last year after the actress shared a snap of herself and McDowell (although his face wasn’t visible) with the caption: “Always got your back.”
On Monday (July 20), the “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile,” actress returned to work and posted several snaps of herself having her makeup done while social distancing.
“Social distancing on set! It was definitely surreal to be back at work again but I was incredibly grateful to @lancomeofficial for being extra cautious and helping us do this safely!” she captioned the series of photos.
“The new normal is going to be very different from what we’re used to, but we’re all in it together — trying to make the most of it and continue being as careful as possible…,” Collins added.
The 31-year-old has been spending her quarantine with her boyfriend.
On July 10, the actress wished McDowell a happy birthday on Instagram with the heartfelt caption:
“Today it’s your birthday and yet I feel like I’m the lucky one. You’re a true gift of a human @charliemcdowell. An incredible boyfriend and the best dog dad to @redforddog. You’ve opened my eyes and deepened my heart. You constantly inspire me to dream big and go outside of my comfort zone. Every day is an adventure with you and I can’t wait to explore more of the world together (when we can). I love you so much…”
Like Collins (who’s the daughter of British musician Phil Collins), McDowell has famous parents, too.
His father, Malcolm McDowell, starred in the 1979 film “Caligula” and the 2007 remake of “Halloween.”
McDowell’s mother is Mary Steenburgen who’s appeared in “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “Elf,” “Step Brothers,” and “The Help.”
And while the 37-year-old has appeared in a few projects, he’s most well-known for directing “The One I Love,” a 2014 thriller starring Elisabeth Moss and Mark Duplass.
McDowell is the president and CEO of Cloudbreak Productions, which was launched in 2014.
McDowell has been linked to several Hollywood A-listers in the past including Emilia Clark (“Game of Thrones”), Rooney Mara (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”), and Hilary Duff (“Lizzie McGuire”).
In March, McDowell shared a photo of Collins for her birthday.
“If you remember me, then I don’t care if everyone else forgets.” -Haruki Murakami Happy birthday @lilyjcollins,” he wrote on Instagram.
Since confirming their romance, the couple has been photographed several times together and their relationship only seems to be getting stronger.
