’90 Day Fiancé”s Lisa Hamme aka Babygirl Lisa was one of the most controversial figures on the show’s previous season of ‘Before The 90 Days.’ She went to Nigeria in order to marry Usman Umar, who is also a rapper there who goes by “Soja Boy.” When she got there, she immediately started to show jealousy, especially when Usman had a model in one of his music videos as the song was supposed to be dedicated to Lisa. She ended up getting him to remove the model from the video.
Usman’s friends weren’t feeling the relationship either as one of them believed that Lisa was trying to destroy his career. Another obstacle that took a while to overcome was getting Usman’s mother’s blessings. They did end up having their wedding, though.
Following the conclusion of the season, it appears that they’re heading for divorce. Usman said Lisa called him the n-word in a Tell-All deleted scene and said that she’s withholding $26,000 from her. Lisa denied this as she showed transfer receipts and said that he’s the one scamming her.
Lisa recently appeared on The Domenick Nati Show again and discussed her appearance on the show. She believes that she’s the most hated cast member but admits she did a good job of bringing entertainment.
“The haters are going to continuously hate. They’re going to hate. On every season there’s gonna be a cast member that they don’t like. And I happened to be the one for the season. And I’m OK with that because it tells me that I did very well keeping everyone entertained during the quarantine,”
Lisa points to haters on Instagram with the problems and not herself, who she feels is just a figure on TV.
“For as much love as I get during the day, I get as many hate DMs,” added Lisa. “But it is what it is. I guess that makes them feel better to vent whatever’s going on in their life that they’re gonna jump into someone’s DM that they’ve never met in their lifetime but saw like five minutes of them on TV.”
Lisa even revealed that she has been getting death threats at times. She did say though that she contacted the FBI about this matter and the threats started to decrease.
“I’ve been receiving a lot of death threats and a lot of hate due to fans who are completely obsessed over a show,” said Lisa in a May interview with Nati. “I guess it’s true in quarantine they continuously watch it over and over. I’m a 53-year-old woman married to a 31-year-old man so, you know, there’s a lot of hate there because my husband is very good looking.”
In the end, it looks like Lisa and Usman are finished. She even recently released a dance song which dissed him.
