Kanye West has definitely appeared to be going through things mentally since his presidential rally in South Carolina on July 19,. He said Harriet Tubman didn't actually free slaves and instead, got them to work for other white people. He even revealed that he and his wife, Kim Kardashian, discussed getting an abortion in 2012 regarding their daughter, North. He also went on two Twitter rants against her and Kris Jenner this week by calling them white supremacists for getting him a doctor and due to Jenner not responding to text messages..

West went as far as calling Jenner "Kris Jong-un" and accused Kardashian of cheating on him with Meek Mill when they met to discuss "prison reform." This all happened while West is getting ready for his 10th studio album, 'Donda,' on July 24, which pays homage to his late mother. Now, Damon Dash, who helped co-found Roc-A-Fella Records, is coming out in support of West. Dash rejected any Kardashian opinion to Page Six and refuses to believe that West is going crazy.

Dash shut down any signs of West losing his mental health just because he cried at the rally. He also added that he is fine being at the ranch.

“People think he lost his mind just because he cried. The way he lost his mind and jumped on a jet and then jumped off the jet to come back to his 40,000-acre ranch? Yeah, I’d like to lose my mind like that.”

“There’s definitely people around him that love him and he’s going to be all right. We are praying, we are working. People think like we are in an insane asylum [but] we got an album coming out.”

Dash added that West is being productive right now in working on his 'Donda' album.

Dash also isn't worried about any of the Karashian's concerns about West. He added that right now, West is being "productive" and "having fun."

“I don’t give a f–k about none of that. I see him — he’s cool. I don’t give a f–k what they say. He’s a little tired but he’s happy. Why are you talking about [his mental health]? He’s in a big room with 40 different companies. Ideas development. It’s a laboratory going on over here. Just think of Willy Wonka.”

Dash's response comes after Kim Kardashian acknowledged that West has a bipolar disorder and was sympathetic to what he's going through. She also isn't divorcing him for now, after numerous reports.

As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health."

Dash needs to acknowledge that West has a problem. West already refuses to get back on his bipolar medication due to believing that it hurts his creativity.
