‘The Real’ co-host Adrielle Bailon has shared an especially candid admission about her close friend Tamar Braxton following her hotel room incident on July 16, saying that fans should pray for her.
When prompted by fans to make a comment regarding Braxton’s current state during an Instagram question and answer session, Bailon was hesitant to share any personal information regarding Braxton’s current health situation, but maintained that fans should continue to offer their prayers and support to her beyond social media as she struggles to return to normalcy.
“So I absolutely wanna encourage people to pray for her. In real life, that’s what I’m doing,” Bailon told fans on Instagram when prompted with questions about Braxton’s health. The star added that she hopes whoever is extending well wishes to Braxton is doing it from a “genuine” place and not simply to gain social media likes.
Barely commenting on the exact situation of what transpired in the hotel room, Bailon furthered the notion that the situation is too “delicate” and fans should just be as supportive as possible.
“But at the same time, that’s a really delicate situation and I absolutely think we all should be praying for her, but not praying for her on social media posts,” she explained on social media.
“Pray for her in real life. That, to me, is important. Reaching out to somebody in real life is important,” ‘The Real’ star added.
Bailon maintained that there are certain things that do not belong on social media, her friend’s current struggle being one of such things.
“I just think, for me, everything isn’t for Instagram, everything isn’t for social media,” she went on to explain. “Even when we’re talking about my baby journey, yeah I’ll say it if we’re here on a live and I feel comfortable saying that, but I also think it’s important to know real life is so much more important than social media,” Bailon added about the prevalence she puts on real-life interactions over those facilitated by various sites on the internet.
Braxton was found unconscious in a hotel room on July 16 by her boyfriend David Adefeso. According to reports he revealed during his 911 call that Braxton was having a hard time working out some logistical elements of her deal with the ‘WEtv’ network and that she was drinking and may have ingested prescription pills as well.
“Tamar has been transferred to another facility for further evaluation and treatment,” a spokesperson for the star mentioned in a statement to ‘People,’ “Out of respect for Tamar’s privacy and that of her family, no additional information is available at this time.”
