Miley Cyrus is back to flashing the flesh – and showing a good heart. The 27-year-old superstar singer updated her Instagram on Tuesday night with a black-and-white photo shouting out loud prints and legendary bombshell Marilyn Monroe – despite pop culture references that also included comic book series The Filth, though, the “SHE IS COMING” singer was out to deliver a message.
Miley, followed by 112 million, was out to get her followers to wear a mask. Scroll for the photo, plus Miley’s COVID bikini video.
Miley’s photo is below. It showed the former “Hannah Montana” star shot against simple square tiling and flaunting her rock-hard abs in a cropped white tee with The Filth’s logo on it. The “Wrecking Ball” singer also donned a loud pair of print patterned pants with Marilyn Monroe’s face seen on the fabrics, plus an outerwear jacket worn off-the-shoulder.
This post was about the caption, though, with the girlfriend to Cody Simpson appearing to work off a slight side-eye seen as she posed with cat-wing eyeliner.
Miley’s caption read: “That shady side eye to y’all who ain’t wearing your recommended, in many places MANDATORY masks. Psh. ?”
The post comes as the world death toll for the novel coronavirus tops 620,000, with the U.S. continuing to be the world’s epicenter via a total 4 million+ cases and 144,000+ deaths. Miley snagged herself over 599,000 likes for the update, also getting a like from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna. Miley herself has been photographed multiple times wearing a mask while out and about in L.A. Videos below.
Late June saw Miley offer up her voice for Global Citizen’s live-streamed Global Gig – and it was a very socially distanced performance. Miley, who performed The Beatles’ “Help” in a slinky, one-shouldered, Alexandre Vauthier dress in an empty Pasadena stadium, accompanied her performance with a message.
“For me, the magic of performing is sharing and celebrating music together…being surrounded by people and feeling their energy! ‘During this time of COVID-19, we are coming together in a different way…we are uniting with the goal of ensuring EVERYONE has access to the solutions to end this pandemic,” she said.
Miley’s bikini dance is after the video.
Miley added: “I dedicated this performance to everyone who is working tirelessly for testing, treatments and vaccines so all of us can come together in places like this empty stadium…. I can’t wait to be together again ?.”
Headlines have centered heavily around both COVID and Black Lives Matter for Miley this summer, but they’ve likewise included a little bikini action, with Miley seen dancing to 20-year-old sister Noah’s “The End of Everything” EP, then returning in swimwear for a backyard bikini TikTok with 23-year-old beau Cody.
