Kanye West has confirmed he’s been “trying to divorce” wife of six years Kim Kardashian, also labelling the 39-year-old and her mom Kris Jenner white supremacists. The “Ye” rapper whose public spiraling has been fronting media outlets since he announced running for president on July 4 has seen concern for his mental health spike since breaking down at his July 19 campaign rally in South Carolina.
Kanye’s Tuesday tweets have largely been deleted. They are also the first confirmation from the 43-year-old rapper that he seeks a divorce. More below.
Kanye’s tweet claimed that he has been trying to split from KKW Beauty founder Kim: “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldorf for “prison reform,”” he wrote, referring to 33-year-old rapper Meek Mill and his 2018 meet with mom of four Kim.
The series of largely now-deleted tweets also saw the Yeezy founder throw out racist remarks and accusations towards Kim and Kris Jenner, plus suggestions the duo attempted to hospitalized him.
“They tried to fly in with 2 doctors to 51/50 me.” More below.
“I got 200 more to go,” another tweet read, with that one shortly followed by:
“This my lady tweet of the night…Kris Jong-Un Lil baby my favorite rapper but won’t do a song wit me.” West added:
“Kriss [sic] and Kim put out a statement without my approval…that’s not what a wife should do White supremacy.”
Kanye’s Twitter tirade comes amid reports that the 2014-married couple is already “living apart,” with Kanye’s South Carolina rally seeing wife Kim top Twitter trends after he revealed Kim had considered aborting first-born daughter North.
West, confirmed in 2020 as a billionaire with a net worth of $1.3 billion by Forbes, also addressed his wealth.
“Meek is my man was respectful That’s my dog Kim was out of line. I’m worth 5 billion dollars and more than that through Christ. But ya’ll ain’t listen to MJ and now ya’ll believe them???” he added, seemingly referring to pop icon Michael Jackson.
West, openly bipolar and having called the mental illness his “superpower”, made global headlines for sobbing on stage during his rally, alongside sparking outrage by claiming abolitionist Harriet Tubman “never actually freed the slaves.”
West, who flew back to his Wyoming ranch yesterday and appeared at it with friend Dave Chappelle, now sees growing concern for his mental well-being.
A source reporting to Page Six stated being “unsure” that Kanye and his reality star wife could “survive” the current situation, with the entire Kardashian family reportedly extremely worried. Kim and Kanye share four children: North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14 months.
Kanye’s comment regarding aborting North largely saw fans side with Kim, feeling that the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star had been unfairly exposed.
