Charlize Theron is on the top of things, again, and her latest movie ' The Old Guard' out on Netflix is going great guns, having reached a viewership of 72 million in its first four weeks itself.

But while Charlize is very happy about the success of the movie, she recently put up a post that asked her 5.9 million Instagram followers to not be an *ss, and Jennifer Aniston loved Theron's post.

Can you figure out why Theron said this, and why more than 700,000 of her fans loved the post?

Before we get into the why of the 'don't be an *ss' post, let's talk about 'The Old Guard'.

Other than starring Charlize Theron; the movie also has KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, Van Veronica Ngo, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

What makes the success of the movie even more special is that not only has been directed by a female but a black female: Gina Prince-Bythewood. And Theron shared her joy with the movie's success with her fans with a sweet post.

The post was liked by 243,000 Instagram followers with plenty of enthusiastic comments.

While January Jones and Gabrielle Union sent in their congratulations via emojis, Michelle Monaghan wrote, "It’s sooooo good sister! You killed it!!!!"

Most fans alternatively begged for and demanded a sequel while another appreciated all the different voices in the movie, writing, "So amazing! Thank you for being a role model and for bringing diverse voices forward."

That said; its another of Charlize's posts that has gone viral with more than 728,000 likes for its beauty, boldness and pertinent message.

This weekend, Charlize Theron posted a monochromatic picture of hers wearing a mask and wrote, "Don’t be an *ss, #WearADamnMask".

One big supporter of masks, Jennifer Aniston, jumped to like this post, sending Theron love, while Chelsea Handler commented, "I love my baby in black and white."

Some fans turned out to be dissenters too, with one writing in "No we won’t comply with a mob mentality" for 309 likes and 285 comments. One pat reply to this non-mask user commented, "survived it too but fortunately, I didn’t lose my brain to it like you seem to have. Take a trip to Houston."

Other fans thanked Charlize Theron with comments like, "Thank you for being a voice of reason" or "Damn right!!! Btw, saw ‘The Old Guard’ last night......and LOVED it!!!! Please say there’s gonna be a part 2.....and soon".

Some fans went straight to the point, Charlize's beautiful eyes and commented, "Those eyes... gorgeous. Loved your new movie. Thx @charlizeafrica ... your impact on this world is profound, as are you."

Whatever be the case, most if not all celebrities are joining hands to tell fans and followers to mask up, and that's a good thing.
