Juice WRLD's Postumous 'Legends Never Die' Has Biggest Debut Of 2020 On Rolling Stone Top 200 Albums Chart

Juice WRLD's first posthumous album, 'Legends Never Die,' was released on July 10 and it received immediate praise on social media by fans of the late Chicago rapper. It contains 21 songs as it's led by the single, "Life's a Mess" featuring Halsey. Other singles included "Righteous" and "Tell Me U Luv Me" feat. Trippie Redd. Additional appearances included Marshmello, The Kid Laroi, and Polo G.

Legends Never die is making a lot of noise on the charts as it hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart as it's the biggest debut of 2020 and now, this is also the case on Rolling Stone's Top 200 Albums chart. It becomes the first album to reach over 500,000 units sold in its first week at 517,800. It surpassed The Weeknd's 'After Hours,' which did 460,000 units following its release back in March and held that record up to this point.

Juice WRLD's previous two albums are now charting high as well due to the success of Legends Never Die.

Due to the huge success of Legends Never Die on Rolling Stone's Top 200, his debut album, 'Goodbye & Good Riddance,' now stands at No. 13 on the chart and his 2019 'Death Race For Love' album stands at No. 26.

Juice WRLD's mother emphasized how passionate the late rapper was about his music and wanted his fans to heal through the music as well.

Wallace also discussed Juice's passion and how his music was an escape to whatever he was dealing with. She wants his fans to heal through his music the same way as well.

"Music was his passion and recording gave him the outlet to share everything he was going through. In addition to his music, Jarad’s legacy will continue to provide help to young people through his Live Free 999 Foundation. We are incredibly grateful to the fans who continue to uplift him every single day and our hope is that his words touch your life in a way that helps you through any challenges you may be facing.”"

Juice WRLD originally passed away in December of 2019.

Back in December of last year, Juice WRLD passed away as a result of an overdose of Oxycodone and codeine. This led to a seizure once he arrived at Chicago's Midway Airport. Once he was transported to a local hospital, he was pronounce dead. Reports stated that when he originally landed at the airport, he swallowed a lot of pills to avoid getting caught by the feds. Juice was only 21 at the time of his passing and was reaching superstar potential.
