Wayne Was Pardoned Of Federal Gun Case This Year

This isn't the first time that Wayne has been involved in a serious gun case. Back in December 2019, the rapper was found with a loaded firearm, while leaving a private jet, in the Miami area. Wayne faced 10 years in prison, and was scheduled to be sentenced, in March 2021.

Donald Trump surprisingly stopped this though, as he made a series of pardons, in his last day as president, this past January. This included Wayne's federal gun case, as well as rapper Kodak Black's gun case, down in Florida.  Wayne went on to post a photo with Trump at the White House, in October 2020, which went on to receive backlash, on social media.

"Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus. Besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done."
