Lil Wayne is back in the headlines, for even more legal woes. This time, it involves his own security guard, to which things allegedly reached to a point of weapons being brandished.
Wayne Accused Of Flashing Gun At Security Guard
According to TMZ, the rapper allegedly flashed an assault rifle at his own security guard, at his home. This reportedly recently occurred at Wayne’s Hidden Hills property. Wayne and security were said to have gotten into a physical altercation, which led Wayne to flashing the weapon.
The security guard reportedly went to the bathroom, and when he got out, Wayne was visibly angry. After the altercation, he left the home, and immediately called police.
Wayne’s Team Reportedly Denies Incident Occurring
Sources close to Wayne, have since went on to claim that this alleged situation didn’t go down at all. They even added that currently, Wayne owns no firearms.
According to the security guard though, the whole dispute is said to have happened, over being accused of taking photos of Wayne, and distributing them to media outlets.
Security Guard Doesn’t Plan To Press Charges
As far as the case moving forward, it doesn’t appear that there will be much progress in that, due to the security guard not wanting to press charges against Wayne. No visible injuries were seen on the man. Despite this though, police are still investigating what possibly occurred that day.
Wayne Was Pardoned Of Federal Gun Case This Year
This isn’t the first time that Wayne has been involved in a serious gun case. Back in December 2019, the rapper was found with a loaded firearm, while leaving a private jet, in the Miami area. Wayne faced 10 years in prison, and was scheduled to be sentenced, in March 2021.
Donald Trump surprisingly stopped this though, as he made a series of pardons, in his last day as president, this past January. This included Wayne’s federal gun case, as well as rapper Kodak Black’s gun case, down in Florida. Wayne went on to post a photo with Trump at the White House, in October 2020, which went on to receive backlash, on social media.
“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus. Besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”
