Raven-Symoné has always been one to be open about the normally private aspects of life. Now, a month removed from her wedding ceremony to Miranda Pearman-Maday, Symoné is opening up about how her new wife "challenges" her, as well as a myriad of other intrinsic details regarding her newlywed status.

Speaking to 'Entertainment Tonight', the 'Disney' star gushed over Zoom about the wild ride her marriage has been so far, "It's like a hot toddy in winter, honey! It's so good."

Symoné caught fans by surprise when she took to social media on June 18 to announce that her and Pearman-Maday were wed in a secret backyard ceremony with only six close friends in attendance at their Los Angeles home.

Taking to Instagram to gush about her new wife, Symoné posted some choice words about the marital bliss she is enjoying, "I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home."

"I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new a******!!! I’s married NOW," she concluded the caption that went alongside a sweet photo from their wedding day.

A month later, Symoné is opening up about her daily life with Pearman-Maday, saying their relationship is based on, "laughs and conversations and growth and goal-building."

"My babes, she's independent," the actress continued. "She's self-sufficient and she challenges me every day. She's like, 'You know, you ain't that special,' and I'm like, 'Ooh, say it again.' I need somebody to bring that ego check in every now and then."

Symoné explained that the reasoning behind her and Pearman-Maday's successful relationship is because they have been able to transpire beyond the issues that plague normal Hollywood couples, such as not being fully comfortable with one another's true selves.

"I laugh right now, I'm super fun," Symone added, "But you shut the camera off, you close the door, and I have my own personal challenges and demons. A lot of the times you find someone that's only looking for that person that they see in the industry, or they're using you for something."

"Miranda knows this for me, I'm moody. I'm definitely very interesting with my convos and she's right there with me, goes toe to toe," the star shared with 'Entertainment Tonight.'

The couple's increasingly interesting dynamic and constant reassurance of one another's most personal nuanced details have clearly made Symoné and Pearman-Maday's relationship a model for what can come of love in Hollywood.

Marital bliss aside, 'Raven About Bunk'd,' Symoné's latest programming effort, a crossover pilot with 'Disney,' airs Friday, July 24.
