Kristen Doute and her boyfriend, Alex Menache, flew to Kentucky earlier this month to spend time with her former “Vanderpump Rules” cast mates, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, and at the end of last week,
According to a report from Us Weekly magazine on July 18, Kristen and her former co-stars reunited last Friday on a boat with some of their other friends at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park and shared a series of photos and videos on their Instagram pages throughout the outing.
According to the report, Kristen wrote that she loves Brittany in one of the photos she shared to her social media page. Meanwhile, Brittany’s husband, Jax, who she married in June of last year, was seen in another photo with a captain hat and in that caption, Brittany wrote, “WOOHOOOOOO.”
As fans of “Vanderpump Rules” may have recall, Jax and Brittany traveled to Kentucky weeks ago to be with her mother, Sherri Cartwright, who fell ill earlier this month after undergoing bladder surgery and experiencing complications.
In early June, Sherri experienced complications from the surgery and was immediately put into the ICU at her local hospital. Then, after Brittany was seen asking for prayers on her Instagram page, her pastor, Ryan Dotson, confirmed on his social media page that Sherri was “improving daily” by mid-June.
The Us Weekly magazine report went on to reveal that Kristen’s trip to Kentucky with Alex came just weeks after she and her co-stars, Stassi Schroeder, Max Boyens, and **Brett Caprioni, were fired from “Vanderpump Rules.”
While appearing on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast last week, Kristen opened up about her unexpected exit from “Vanderpump Rules,” which came after she was accused of racist behavior.
“I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned is that I have so much to learn,” Kristen said. “I think that it would have been a lot smarter for [Bravo] to film about this. I think that this was a perfectly wide-open door for Bravo to take the initiative and have this conversation.”
“I know this probably sounds super selfish for someone that’s canceled to say they don’t believe in cancel-culture, but the reason why is I believe we are in such a detrimental point in our pop culture to politics to full society where people in my position,” she continued.
The “Vanderpump Rules” cast is expected to resume filming at some point in the coming months. However, when it comes to Bravo, no official announcements have been made in regard to the start of filming on season nine.
