Fans are reeling after learning the shocking news that Jessica Biel reportedly gave birth to her and Justin Timberlake’s second child earlier this week, according to The Daily Mail. They managed to keep the pregnancy a secret the entire time despite still posting photos of themselves on social media. The couple reportedly welcomed a baby boy, who joins their five-year-old son Silas in what is now a family of four.
While people are thrilled for the couple’s new addition, it’s being pointed out that Timberlake’s hand-holding scandal with actress Alisha Wainwright happened in the early days of Biel’s pregnancy.
He was spotted holding hands with Wainwright on the balcony of a New Orleans bar on Nov. 22 while taking a break from filming the movie Palmer.
The photos sparked a huge cheating scandal for which Timberlake eventually apologized and said he had been drinking the night of the incident, and said he was embarrassed.
“I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior,” Timberlake wrote in December. “I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.”
According to The Daily Mail, Biel’s mother Kimberly Conroe spent the past week with the couple in Big Sky, Montana, where they have been in quarantine throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Neither Biel nor Timberlake have made any sort of official comment confirming that they welcomed a second child.
The couple have been posting photos to Instagram during the reported pregnancy. Their last current images appear to have been shared on April 25th, but they were selfies that did not allow fans to see any sort of baby bump for Biel.
Us Weekly reported on April 1 that the couple has recovered from Timberlake’s scandal and that living in quarantine has helped them.
“Although the pandemic is very stressful, Jess is trying to look on the bright side of things and thinks the extra downtime that comes along with the situation is great for her and Justin’s relationship,” a source said.
“They of course both have their moments of being irritated, but it has ultimately brought them closer and having the main focus be each other and [son] Silas has been a good thing.” The source added that they had been taking part in virtual therapy, as well.
