Swimwear model and Bikini A Day co-founder Devin Brugman revealed that she has been a foster mama to a couple of adorable little fur babies and made an emotional announcement that it was time to say goodbye as the two dogs went on to their forever home. Brugman shares much of her personal life on social media through her postings and stories but hadn’t really mentioned that she had taken the huge responsibility of fostering dogs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 29-year-old model took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon and revealed her cute little houseguests while explaining what has been going on behind the scenes over the past few months.
“These two precious baby boys are officially ready for adoption ??? Fostering them has been the highlight of 2020 for us ? They are beyond loving, so sweet and so well behaved for how little they are. I knew fostering would be hard because you get attached but I didn’t know it would be THIS hard letting them go,” Brugman wrote to her 1.3 million followers.
Brugman also asked that anyone interesting in adopting the little terriers try and keep them in the same home and contact the local animal shelter in Venice, CA that coordinated the foster.
“My heart is so full, thank you @thelittleloverescue ❤️ If you’re interested in these pups (would really prefer to keep them together) please contact @thelittleloverescue ❤️”
Some of Brugman’s celebrity friends were bursting with love after seeing the cute dogs and jumped into the comments of her post to give a shout out.
E! correspondent Morgan Stewart was loving the dogs and wrote that she was “DYING.”
“OMG,” model Kara Jewell wrote.
Brugman admitted that, “I can’t decide what I like more now puppy bellies or puppy breath.”
A fan asked if the model had considered just keeping the dogs, since she’s clearly grown fond of them. “It’s a mental battle daily for me trust,” Brugman responded to the fan.
It’s unclear if the model, who spends most of her day in a bikini, will foster more animals … but I think we can all agree that wherever those lucky dogs are going, the view won’t be as good.
