Vanderpump Rules couple James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss have called off their engagement and ended their five-year relationship. The exes released a joint statement on their Instagram accounts confirming the unfortunate news.
James Kennedy & Raquel Leviss Are Not In Love Anymore
In the statement, Kennedy and Leviss shared that they are just no in love anymore. “After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement.”
The statement continued. “We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.” The couple have only been engaged for 7 months. Fans got to see the proposal on an episode of Vanderpump Rules this season.

James Kennedy Spent A Lot Of Money On The Proposal
Kennedy, 29 came up with an elaborate proposal to prove his love to Leviss. The DJ created a mock Coachella called “Rachella” to pop the question to the 26-year-old model and SURver.
He enlisted the help of co-star Tom Sandoval and the two spent about $30,000 on the proposal alone. It looked like a fun night but now that the glitz has worn off it looks like Leviss is starting to see all those negative things that her friends, family, and co-SURvers have been saying about Kennedy all along… he’s not the greatest person to be marrying.

Raquel Leviss Went Hard For James Kennedy
Leviss was always the first person to stand up for Kennedy and was his biggest supporter when he decided to get sober, so him sparing no expense for the engagement was also a way he showed his appreciation because Leviss has spent most, if not all of her time on the show going hard for Kennedy.
He has often found himself shunned and uninvited to group events because of his problem with drinking and blasting his co-stars. He famously made fun of Katie Maloney-Schwartz when she gained a little bit of weight.
He also trashed ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute repeatedly when they broke up. It’s safe to say people were sick of him. No matter what, Leviss made sure to point out Kennedy’s good traits. Who will do that now?
‘Vanderpump Rules’ Reunion To Cover The Breakup
It has not been confirmed but it looks like the couple may talk about their breakup on the reunion which was filmed this weekend. How can they not? Eagle-eye fans noticed that Leviss has not posted a picture of herself with Kennedy since about mid-November.
While they have both turned the comments off on their breakup posts, fans have not been quiet about wanting the couple to break up. Mostly citing that even sober, Kennedy hasn’t changed.
This season so far, he has already lashed out at his best friend Lisa Vanderpump’s son Max Todd calling him a “fat f—k” over an argument about splitting a starter salad to save money. He also admitted that he didn’t want Leviss to go under the knife and fix her nose job just in case she turns out ugly.
“I’m the one who has to look at her.” Yeah, he said that. Twitter is already buzzing about the news with fans split on agreeing or disagreeing with the breakup. No word yet on when the reunion will premiere and how many parts it will be but, this news is sure to be a topic of conversation.
