Stassi Schroeder has shared a rare pregnancy update from the intimate setting of her bedroom. The former “Vanderpump Rules” star whose June firing scandal made global headlines is now bumping along nicely as she and 2019-engaged fiancé Beau Clark expect their baby girl.
Stassi may be pregnant and unemployed as both the Bravo TV network and her podcast were taken away, but she’s still got jokes – and style. Scroll for the photo that comes as the 32-year-old’s second-only baby bump selfie.
Scroll for Stassi’s Tuesday night selfie – the bump is definitely growing. The above snap came on July 2nd as Stassi delivered her first pregnancy selfie. Last night’s one came much skimpier and with the blonde seemingly ready for bed.
Stassi appeared in flimsy pink pajama shorts with cute black heart prints, plus a dark sweater rolled up to flaunt the bump. Stassi also wore comfy gray socks and an ultimately uplifting smile – there was a joke, though. Check out the photo below.
Stassi, who – alongside former co-star Kristen Doute – was axed from “Vanderpump Rules” for a racist incident with the series’ black star Faith Stowers, had shared a small caption. She wrote:
“Now if only I could only gain this in my bum,” adding a heart emoji.
Stassi and casting agent fiancé Beau confirmed they are expecting their baby girl in early 2021. For fans, the joyful baby news brings a level of pity for the star whose 2018 behavior saw her and Doute racially profiling Faith – the two women called the cops on her reporting that she looked like a black woman wanted for robbery. More below.
Stassi, who starred on eight seasons of the Bravo series prior to be dropped, now sees a petition circulating to get her back on-air. Over 25,000 fans have inked their name to the cause, with the petition’s organizer, Nicole Ryan explaining:
“The event that took place over two years ago, was not ok. The actions by Ms. Schroeder and Ms. Doute were out of ignorance.”
They continued: “But if we have learned anything during these last few weeks, it is that these hard conversations need to be had. Firing these cast members for something that happened years ago, is more harmful than helpful.” More after the jump.
Stassi’s past being exposed also saw comments on a 2017 episode of her “Straight Up With Stassi” podcast brought to the spotlight. The blonde had complained about black people requesting special treatment in Hollywood. Stassi apologized for making the “racially insensitive comments” in a June 7 Instagram post, adding that she would “continue to take better accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better.”
Meanwhile, former co-star Doute is now admitting that she acted wrong with Stowers and has embarked on “learning” about anti-racism.
