January Jones knows how to make a joke. The “Mad Men” actress whose Instagram activity recently saw her asked to count how many bikinis she owns has been ramping up those swimwear updates. January, 42, is fresh from rocking a revealing bathing suit to dictate 4th of July rules – and she did it with a beer.
January updated her Instagram ahead of the weekend with a photo referencing her “mammaries.” The star who made headlines for wearing a bikini to joke she’s unemployed during the pandemic has not, however, run out of humor. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo that quickly caught a like from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” face Lisa Rinna. It showed the star, known for her 2007-2015 Betty Draper role, in a plunging coral bikini and in selfie mode. January was flaunting her famous assets as well as her pearly whites, seen rocking cat-wing shades and a wide-brimmed straw hat.
It’s always in the caption with this actress, though. January kept hers brief, writing: “Making mammeries ?.” Scroll for the reactions, plus that “Out of work” bikini shot.
January, followed by 1 million on Instagram, more than raked in the comments. And the likes. A popular reply decided to play the blonde at her own game on the witticisms front, reading: “You seem abreast of the situation…..?.” The most-liked comment, however, noted a vibe that would, at any other time, likely be overlooked. “I wish I could always look this damn happy??.”
It’s been approximately three weeks since Jones updated in a retro bikini and from her pool to joke that she’s got no work and needs attention. Skip the jump for the snap.
January may have joked that she’s unemployed in her quarantine photo, but the star is technically not out of work – quite yet. While 2019 saw her in hit Netflix series “The Politican,” this year brings her in her Carole Baker role on TV series “Spinning Out.” The show has been canceled after just one season, though.
That Instagram account isn’t just busty photos and jokes, though. January, who is raising son Xander, has been opening up on Black Lives Matter.
June 2 saw January opt out of #BlackoutTuesday, instead posting a photo of her son holding up a poster with “I CAN’T BREATHE” on it. The words uttered by 46-year-old black man George Floyd as he was murdered at the hands of a white police officer came captioned with mentions of how January plans to keep her son aware.
“I promise that I will always continue to talk to my child about inequality. And I promise to do all I can to learn more,” she wrote.
