There comes a time in a celebrity’s life where all he or she wants to do, is love, be loved and have peace of mind. Well, the compulsory lock down has in a way helped with the peace of mind part, but what about love.
What fans fail to understand is that; celebrities are like any other human being, the only difference is that they are always in the spotlight. Miley Cyrus has been in the spotlight since she was a child, so, no one would blame her if all she wants to do is take a break in the arms of her lover.
The “Hannah Montana” star has been through a lot these past few years and the last straw that broke the camel’s back was her divorce from Liam Hemsworth.
However, through it all, she fell in love with an Australian born singer known as Cody Simpson. When the romance was revealed, a lot of fans believed it would never last. This was because it happened right after her marriage with Hemsworth ended.
Also, at that time, Cyrus was going through a long-lasting cannabis addiction that she just wanted to put behind her.
Nevertheless, with Simpson in the picture, a lot of things changed for the “Wrecking Ball” singer. She became sober and has stayed that way till now. She revealed in a recent interview that she loves the feeling of finally leading a healthy lifestyle.
Speaking to E! News, Cyrus described how her life outside drugs and alcohol has been. Taking from the ways she talked and how proud she sounded, the singer is definitely in a great place mentally and she is very excited about her progress.
“It’s really hard being sober because; especially being young, there’s that stigma of ‘You’re no fun'” The 27-year-old singer said. “It’s like, ‘Honey, you can call me a lot of things, but I know that I’m fun.’ But the thing that I love about it, is waking up 100 percent, 100 percent of the time. I don’t wake up feeling groggy. I want to wake up feeling ready.” Cyrus said.
If anything, Cyrus is truly lucky that she got to realize a lot of things at a very young age.
A lot of celebrities who have gone through addiction in the past, became whole again when it was almost too late for them to pickup where they left off.
Congratulations to Cyrus for making a conscious effort to get and stay better. Also, the singer may not have come to realize the beauty of sobriety, without the help of her amazing boyfriend, Cody Simpson. His presence alone in her life has been a great help for the singer and that is why fans love and adore him always. Good luck to them!
