Mackenzie McKee never indicated why she deleted her “ramon noodles” caption back in early June. The “Teen Mom OG” star whose popularity has seen her told her storyline is “the only one worth watching” on the MTV series removed a lengthy caption documented by The Blast last month – Mackenzie, 25, had shown off a “ramon” to riches story confirming how tough things once were. With a new SUV bought all cash, though, the reality star and mom of three is now doing well for herself.
Mackenzie’s latest Instagram post was adorable on the visual front. It also included an adorable spelling mistake.
June 8 saw Mackenzie update her Instagram with her stunning summer body and one snazzy white SUV. The Body by Mac founder wrote: “Three years ago, I was looking for dropped quarters around the house to buy my kids Ramon noodles trying to network market and cut hair for a living.”
“Decided to open a business #bodybymac and today I bought a brand new car off the lot (my dream car) with cash…. never thought I’d be here,” she added, also saying “if people laugh at your ideas,” that dreams should be followed anyway. More below.
Mackenzie’s Saturday night Instagram update came with comments disabled – the Oklahoma native recently made headlines for announcing she’d be banning comments to all photos featuring her kids after trolls making “rotten teeth” and “cancer” comments proved too much. This post included the star’s youngest son Broncs, opening with a stunning selfie of Mackenzie and her friend Thaylia, then showing their sons together.
A caption read: “Y’all I missed this lady. @thaylia21 and the boys missed each other as well of coarse.”
Mackenzie, whose difficult 2019 got harder than ever in December as mom Angie Douthit lost her lung cancer battle, has been both grieving for her mother’s loss and facing life with a fighting spirit. All this, amid a split from rocky husband Josh, with Mackenzie raising the couple’s three kids Gannon, Jaxie, and Broncs solo.
On June 30, Mackenzie posted a beautiful photo of her ripped and gym-honed body as she sat on brick steps outside her home. A caption outlined that “we CAN control what we do to others,” but what others think about you is “NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS…Revenge isn’t the answer,” she continued. More after the jump.
Mackenzie shot to fame as an Oklahoma cheerleader who was pregnant at 16. Appearances on MTV’s “16 & Pregnant” and “Teen Mom 3” were largely forgotten until Mackenzie landed on “Teen Mom OG” screens last year. The star has proven immensely popular as the franchise experiences falling viewers, with Mackenzie also considered a fitness icon.
Following the decision to limit comments to photos of her kids, McKee received support. “I thought that was a great idea about removing comments on any future pictures of your children,” one fan wrote.
