Ariel Winter had the paparazzi dining out this week. The “Modern Family” actress who debuted her icy-blonde and Marilyn Monroe-style hair over 4th of July has been snapped on another L.A. outing – Ariel, 22, hit up a Baskin Robbins ahead of the weekend to grab a birthday cake. The sitcom star whose “Game of Thrones”-inspired hair reveal saw her get extra witty as she also made a pun on her own Winter last name showed off more than the hair in these photos.

The above photo formed part of a photo-heavy batch of images landing on Ariel’s feed over Independence Day weekend. Ariel, likened to both Marilyn Monroe and Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen character on cult series “Game of Thrones” had posted from her L.A. quarantine – “Winter is Coming!!!!!!” she wrote.
Ariel was photographed looking anything but wintry ahead of the weekend. The actress’ birthday cake run came with a very leggy look as she wore a tiny shorts playsuit in navy-and-white spot print. More below.

Headlines have been all about that hair debut, though. Particularly since the actress made global headlines back in Februrary for debuting a return to red hair – “strawberry and shortcake” was Ariel’s take as she asked her 4.4 million Instagram followers to come up with nicknames.

Ariel, who was body-shamed both before dropping her 30 pounds and after, opened up to Teen Vogue as the sitcom she grew up on was wrapping up. The star was open about her mental health, saying: “I go to therapy every week and I’ve been doing it for eight years. It is fantastic. For me, therapy is so important. I never want to quit therapy. I feel like people are never ‘cured’ [with] therapy.”
Winter also referenced the shaming she’d experienced via online trolls – calling her a “fat sl-t” isn’t well-received.
2019 saw Ariel trolled as her weight loss was suggested to have been a result of meth – and Ariel clapped back. Revisiting the storm and updating on the communications she still receives, Ariel said: “A lot of people commented on my post like, ‘No, she changed her antidepressant because she wanted to lose weight,” adding: “No! I thought every medication I was on, I was going to stay at that weight, and that was fine. It had nothing to do with that.”
