Hilary Duff listing her life problems while floating around her pool in a bikini has taken an unexpected turn. The 32-year-old actress updated her Instagram on Tuesday night with a low-key photo and light-hearted-yet-raw caption listing a few of life's stresses right now. If you don't live inside Hilary's Instagram, the "Younger" actress is real as they come, also having found herself targeted by malicious trolls in May as an alleged nude photo of her son Luca saw her trending on Twitter with an absurd and unsubstantiated "sex trafficker" label.

Hilary's photo, seen below, was a reminder of what – per the actress' words – "NEVER HAPPENS." The peaceful shot showed the former "Lizzie McGuire" actress plonked on a multi-color and clear perspex pool floatie from luxury Funboy brand and unwinding with a little reading material and a beverage. Hilary had been snapped from above and rocking a thin-strapped black bikini, also peeping the camera from behind shades.

A caption read: "This.NEVER.happens. if I could stop the racing thoughts of the end of the world/dealing with the mess in my garage/and counting the fruits&veggies/glasses of water my kids drank today it would be a evvvvven chiller."

Hilary, followed by 15.3 million on Instagram, did not see her photo fall short on the popularity front – it racked up over 267,000 likes overnight. The post did, however, launch a small storm as celebrity personal trainer Erik Young, a.k.a. The Flexible Dieting Coach swooped in with a comment – Erik trains Hilary. The reply was innocent enough: "Bikini body during Covid?!?? 🔥🔥," it read.

A comment gathering likes slammed the remark as a body-shaming one. "Every body is a bikini body. Stop perpetuating unhealthy stereotypes, especially as a nutrition coach...," the fan wrote. Scroll for Hilary's response.

Trainer Replies, But Another Unwelcomed Comment Comes In

Hilary replied to the initial "fire" comment. "I told you I'm not failing!" Replies also came in to the comment questioning the "bikini body" reference. "She has a body AND a bikini so yeah. She has a bikini body, 😉" one user wrote. It looked like Erik was right on it. The fitness coach responded, saying:

"Oh, that’s not it all. We are in the middle of a pandemic where most people are gaining weight. It’s expected of course but that’s not the case here. I’m just happy for my friend/client. That’s all." A remark taking things back to Hilary's ugly May headlines then came in. More after the jump.

Unnecessary Comment Drags In Son's 'Nude' Photo Storm

Hilary's 8-year-old son Luca was then referenced in an extremely seedy manner – "do you think she’s taking more pictures of her son?? @time_to_wake 🧐," a troll wrote. May 23 saw Hilary slam "disgusting" rumors that took her to #1 Twitter trend spot as a deleted thread forming a wild conspiracy theory dubbed her a "sex trafficker." A photo Hilary had posted – then deleted had sparked the ludicrous allegations Duff responded to with: "Everyone bored [as f-ck] right now I know, but this is actually disgusting."

"Someone pointed out on Instagram that I did a nude of him, which I did, so we covered that up with a sticker," Hilary stated after the storm. Elsewhere, comments to last night's update were positive – remarks even came in asking what brand the stylish swimwear was.
