Ireland Baldwin chose “pregnancy announcement” for the opener to her Monday Instagram caption. The 24-year-old model and daughter to Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger updated her account earlier today with a double-photo post that definitely made her 600,000 followers swipe. The bikini snap showing the blonde looking trim came with words suggesting there’s a bun in the oven – also including a sushi burrito, however, the post seemed more geared towards a food baby than a real one.

And if you’re a fan of sushi burritos, you may well consider the swipe (below) worth the while. Ireland, who has made headlines recently for wielding a kitchen knife in unzipped jeans as she joked about getting “fat” in quarantine, had posed showing off her killer figure poolside. The snap opted out of a face share, but the bikini body was all there as Ireland placed one hand to her stomach while rocking a ribbed, thin-strapped, and mint-green two-piece.

The next image delivered the very Instagrammable foodie trend – Ireland had posted a snap of her sushi burrito. Her caption read: “Pregnancy announcement ? swipe to see my little cutie.”
A following of 600,000 won’t rake in the likes on a Kardashian level, but Ireland did snag herself over 5,500 in two hours, alongside plenty of comments. “Haha! Thanks for always keeping us on our toes ?,” one fan wrote. Others were eyeing up the food, though – even if they didn’t know what it was. “Whats that? Looks amazing,” one user wrote.

Ireland’s pandemic headlines have not been dull. The star fronted media outlets in June for a TikTok-style video set in her kitchen and seeing her brandish a knife as she wore her jeans unzipped. “Can’t spell quarantine right because I’m sick of her,” Ireland wrote, with the video also suggesting the model’s lock-down foods to include popular snack Cheetos.
Trolls have also been alive and well, especially for Ireland’s braless outings as she backs Black Lives Matter. While one outing saw the model dubbed “disrespectful” for putting on a very cleavage-centric display, another saw fans state it was “offensive” to center a headline around her being braless. More after the jump.
Ireland recently updated her Instagram with an in-progress tattoo as she snapped herself in selfie mode and writing: “Tattoo is a work in progress, nails are a work in progress, attitude in this photo is at 100% completion, b-tch.” The attitude may be this star’s trademark, but Ireland has opened up about vulnerability. 2017 saw her “refusing” to be body-shamed about not being “stick-thin,” writing:
“I’m not going to spend hours photo shopping my authenticity away. I’m not going to beat myself up for not looking like someone else. I’m not going to be told that I’m damaged goods because of my tattoos.”
