Chelsea Houska might just have had the best 4th of July ever. The “Teen Mom 2” star took to her Instagram stories over Independence Day weekend with a literal ride-along for her 5.7 million followers. Chelsea’s weekend was spent with friends, 2016-married husband Cole DeBoer, plus three kids Aubree, Watson, and Layne. It looked like the weather in South Dakota was good, with Chelsea seen in a stunning skimpy look as she headed towards seeming shores, plus a pool setting – you get a video.
Scroll for the photos that culminated with Chelsea filming 3-year-old son Watson’s adorable and cheeky grin as he hit the pool.
Chelsea herself kicked off with stories showing a little partying, with the MTV face and Lauribelles partner then appearing on a road trip. Chelsea had her killer, post-baby figure on show via a low-cut black tank with animal-print detailing. Shades and a giant grin kept it light as Chelsea hung with her “HUNNIES.” The star who was recently unfollowed by approximately 5,000 fans in a white “privilege” storm appeared to have fully put the drama behind her
June proved unsteady for Chelsea as her then-silence over murdered black man George Floyd coincided with her posting a cute gold blazer photo – Chelsea, deemed tone-deaf for promoting clothing amid Black Lives Matter, was told: “Disappointed and unfollowed.”
The latter manifested by the thousands as Chelsea was told: “Imagine having a platform to voice concerns that are going on in with today’s world (the same world your children are growing up in) and using it to post about clothes. #yourprivilegeisshowing #cancelled.”
Chelsea may have lost followers, but the privilege storm didn’t put a dent in her status as the most-followed “Teen Mom” face. Her 5.7 million-strong following sits miles ahead of the next most-followed face, Kailyn Lowry – the pregnant Pothead haircare founder has 3.8 million followers. Meanwhile, former “Teen Mom” Jenelle Evans boasts 2.9 million, with likewise ex cast member Farrah Abraham hovering at the 2 million mark – Farrah did make headlines for losing another 80,000 followers this year, though.

Chelsea has largely been keeping it in the family amid COVID-19, but a recent photo of the redhead with a group of female friends had Instagram raising eyebrows. The summer snap saw a popular comment read: “? Forget we’re in an epidemic Chelsea?” Another had written: “Social distancing ladies ?”
Elsewhere, Chelsea has been making headlines for continuing to build the farmhouse mansion she’s set to move into. The star is still living in the $418,000 home she purchased back in 2018.
