Phaedra Parks is opening up about her potential return to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast.
As she prepared for her debut on “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition” on Thursday night on WeTV, Phaedra appeared on a podcast, where she opened up about rejoining the show and reacted to Nene Leakes’ alleged efforts to have her rehired by Bravo after being booted from the series due to her spreading of a false rumor regarding Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker, and Porsha Williams.
“Right now, I’m finding love,” Phaedra said during the new episode of Us Weekly magazine’s “Getting Real with the Housewives”podcast.
Although Phaedra was featured on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for several years, she doesn’t seem to on board with the idea of returning to the women and their drama.
“I’m really in a wonderful place. I’m happy. I want to love, love, not fight for love. I’m in a great place. I’m always happy for those years I spent [on the show], but everybody has to grow,” she shared.
In response to the news regarding Nene’s alleged campaign for her return, which has allegedly been in full swing since Phaedra first exited the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2017, Phaedra said she loves her former co-star.
“We’re from the same hometown and I really respect her because she’s a mogul in every sense of the word,” Phaedra told Us Weekly magazine of Nene. “And I’ve seen her just grow by leaps and bounds.”
While Nene faced rumors of an exit from the show in June, she quickly denied those reports and is believed to be in negotiations with Bravo currently.
Years ago, prior to being booted from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast, Phaedra accused Kandi and Todd of plotting to drug Porsha so they could take advantage of her in bed.
Right away, Kandi denied those reports and ultimately, Phaedra owned up to her scandalous pot-stirring.
Phaedra went on to explain her relationship with boyfriend Medina Islam, who is starring alongside her on “Marriage Boot Camp.”
“He has a daughter, so we are both very respectful of each other as parents,”she shared.
“That’s what really made me gravitate toward him because he had no issues with my stance on being in my children’s life at a certain point. I don’t think that you should just bring in a lot of random people. I’m very private because I have to be protective,” Phaedra continued.

In the meantime, fans of Phaedra can catch her in the new season of “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition,” which airs on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. on WeTV.
