Erika Jayne is making her mark on the beauty world with her newest collection of hair extensions.
The reality star, 50 — who has already built business ventures in the entertainment industry — will be launching a new brand amid legal woes.
Her New Passion
Since leaving her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, 82, and getting multiple court cases, life has been very challenging for the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star. However, Erika chose to move forward to pursue her passions, including opening a new company that will be launched this month.
Erika has created her own line of luxury hair extensions called Pretty Mess Hair. Being in the entertainment industry for years, she has ample knowledge about hair extensions.
"I have worn every type of hair extension on and off stage, and on TV for over a decade," Erika told People. "So I know what I love and works best for all situations. You name it, I've worn it!"

According to the outlet, her brand will offer a variety of extension options including different types of wefts (sewn in) and tape-in extensions. For those who are just starting with extensions, Erika recommends using the tape-ins.
"It's quick and easy to maintain, but still considered a professional product," she explained.
During the chat, the "Lowball" actress revealed the main reason why she's drawn to extensions. She said it helped her achieve different kinds of looks without changing hair color, style, or cut.
Why She Loves Them

"There is not a 'look' I will not try because the great thing about extensions is that you can quickly and quite easily take them out and still have your original hair," Erika stated, adding that there is "No permanent commitment, which makes it fun!"
The TV star also said, "Beautiful hair immediately makes me feel pretty and as if I can take on the world! Nothing is quite as powerful as a luscious mane of hair."
While she adores dressing up, as seen on "RHOBH," Erika admitted that she had to rock a more low-key look during the lockdown season, which happened at the height of the pandemic last year.

"[It] was actually a great time for my hair and skin. I was able to go long periods without having my hair colored or professionally styled, so it grew!" she said.
The difficult time was not all a waste to her as she used the period to try out different hairstyles on herself at home.
"This also gave me time to play with clip-ins, ponytails and tapes, which gave me some much-needed glamour during quarantine," Erika shared.
Opening A 'New Chapter'
The business endeavor has been the perfect distraction for Erika amid the legal battle she's facing and her ongoing divorce.
"I've definitely had quite an interesting year and being a part of a new business venture is both exciting and refreshing. It gives me butterflies," she said. "This is a new chapter of my life and I'm grateful to be moving in a glamorous, wonderful new direction."
Late last year, Erika filed for divorce from Tom after over two decades of marriage. A month after, the former lawyer and his law firm, Girardi Keese, were sued for allegedly embezzling funds from the families who lost loved ones in a tragic plane crash.
According to reports, the firm transferred funds to Erika's business, EJ Global LLC, amounting to $25 million.
