Tyler Perry Promises Justice For Late Jacqueline Avant In Emotional Tribute

Tyler Perry is speaking up following the gruesome murder of music icon Clarence Avant's wife, Jacqueline Avant. The renowned filmmaker took to social media to pay his condolences to the family.
However, alongside his tribute, Perry spoke about bringing the perpetrators to the book.
Tyler Perry Speaks Out On Jacqueline Avant's Killing
The "Madea" actor took to Instagram to share several photos of Clarence and Jacqueline alongside a heartwarming throwback of the couple with their kids, Nicole and Alexander. Perry, in the accompanying caption, expressed his pain at the tragic incident.
He wrote, "My heart breaks for Clarence and Nicole and all the Avant family. This world can be so cruel and cold!! I have no idea what kind of sub-human could shoot an 81-year-old woman, and in her own home."
The "Madea's Family Reunion" actor then promised to help the Avant family find justice. "you can rest assured that every available resource will be used to find whoever is responsible for this awful nightmare," he vowed.
Tyler described the event as "tremendously sad," with many fans in the comments section sharing a similar incident.
Jacqueline Was Shot By A Home Intruder
According to TMZ, who first broke the news, Jacqueline was shot during a home invasion at her and Clarence's home in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills. The couple was home at the time of the burglary, and Jacqueline was hit in the stomach.
At around 2:30 AM, Beverly Hills authorities received a call about a home invasion and someone being shot. Upon arriving at the Avant's home, Jacquline had already been taken to the hospital, but she didn't survive.
Details about the perpetrators aren't clear yet, but the suspects smashed a sliding glass door to access the home. In a press conference given by the chief of Beverly Hills Police, he shared that it wasn't certain if it was just one suspect or multiple.
He also noted that it was too early to determine a motive but shared that the attack didn't appear random.
Nicki Minaj Ex's Reacts To The Case
Tyler Perry isn't the only celebrity to speak out about Jacqueline's brutal killing. Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend Safaree touched on the subject in a Twitter rant.
As we reported, the rapper, who was previously a victim of a home invasion, advocated for home burglars to get the death penalty. The "No Regular Girl" rapper was robbed of jewelry and other items amounting to thousands of dollars.
In his social media outrage, Safaree warned his fans to permanently activate their house alarms whether they are at home or away.
