Scheana Shay and Stassi Schroeder are closer than they've been in years, the "Vanderpump Rules" star revealed during a recent episode of her podcast "Scheananigans with Scheana Shay." Sadly, it seems it took Shay's tragic miscarriage to bring the two reality personalities together.

She revealed that they have been “[talking] more in the last five days [than] in the last five months or years.”

Shay said that her and Schroeder both being pregnant got them engaging with one another.

“I obviously texted her congratulations, but I don’t say anything about me because not only did I start bleeding the night before and I’m worried I’m having a miscarriage, but it was too early,” Shay said after learning that Schroeder was expecting. “I was only, I think at that time, about five weeks. So I wasn’t really telling anyone other than my two best friends, my mom, and my sister, obviously Brock.”

She later found out that she did, in fact, suffer a miscarriage after being about two to three weeks pregnant.

“My OB got me in early, they did an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat,” she said about learning the heartbreaking news. “There was just nothing progressing, nothing going on inside. There were just parts that he could see were starting to form, and it just didn’t. It’s still been a lot to process.”

Shay went on to say that Schroeder sent her a very heartfelt message after she learned about the miscarriage.

“She sent me the sweetest, most heartfelt message just genuinely being there for me and that really meant a lot because she’s pregnant right now,” Shay added. “I’m sure being pregnant, you can’t imagine losing it.”

Schroeder was fired by Bravo from "Vanderpump Rules" earlier this month after a racial profiling incident from the past resurfaced amid the heightened awareness of racial injustice going on across the country.

Her and Kristen Doute reportedly called the police on fellow cast member Faith Stowers, who is the only African-American personality on the show.

They thought she looked like a black woman that they saw in the newspaper who was wanted for a robbery. It turned out not to be Stowers at all.

Shay and Schroeder had some on-air feuds during their time together on "Vanderpump Rules," but they seem to have both buried that hatchet. Shay recently shared a photo on her Instagram Story of the two hanging out together for Schroeder's birthday.
