Mike Tyson Stars In Online Series for Collab With Chinatown Market

Mike Tyson proves just how hands-on he can get when he partners with a company. The former heavyweight champ just announced a collaboration with trendy clothing designer, Chinatown Market, for a limited-edition drop of merch along with a digital mockumentary that will be released over a 5-part series.

According to a release from the designer, the limited Tyson swag will consist of two capsules consisting of tees, hoodies, and lounge shorts. As for the mockumentary, the setup is Tyson visiting the Chinatown Market office to "mentor the team in preparation for the collaboration."

Mike Tyson spoke about how he was looking forward to partner with Chinatown Market and enjoyed the aspect of partnering the production of the show with the product:

"I am thrilled to be partnering with the streetwear brand Chinatown Market, and excited to show the fans what we made together both from a content and product perspective."

Mike Cherman, founder of the clothing designer named after the famed Canal Street in New York, talked about working with the champ:

"It was an honor to work with Tyson. He was an incredible improviser and helped make the content some of the funniest we’ve ever shot for the brand”

The items range in price between $40 - $90 and will be available on July 3. Some of the graphics feature epic designs of Tyson in his prime, and one of them even features his old beloved pet tiger.

The digital series will begin streaming daily on June 27 and can be seen on Chinatown Marketplace's website. A portion of the proceeds from the clothing line will be donated to the Tyson Cares Foundation which provides essential needs to kids from broken homes such as healthcare, school assistance, shelter, and mentoring.
